I'm gonna try and list some of the theories we came up with regarding Season 2 last night in the shoutbox. I can't remember them all, and if you have any of your own, then you can post them.
It'll be funny to look back on them when new episodes come out and see if our ideas were wrong.
EPISODE 1: ALL THAT REMAINS
When did Nick's mum die?
Judging by how Nick acts in Episode 1, his mother died relatively recently, though Carver doesn't list her as one of the people he's looking for. This kinda suggests that Nick's mum died in Carver's settlement, which begs the question, why would Carver allow someone who was bitten into the settlement?
EPISODE 2: A HOUSE DIVIDED
When did Carver kill Pete?
I thought that Carver shot Pete while tracking Clementine to the Cabin, and he used this knowledge that Pete was with Clementine to work out that the latter was involved with the cabin group. However, he still lists Pete as one of the people he's looking for - if he suggested that he knew Pete was dead, it would freak Clem out a bit.
Who was using the flashlights?
When Clem climbs up the ski-lift, she spots three flash lights. It's assumed that these are Carver's goons, but it takes Bonnie barely any time to arrive at the Cabin - from a different direction.
This could mean that the three flashlights correspond to Troy, Johnny and Carver himself, and that they were creating a diversion to give Bonnie cover as she scouted ahead. By the point the lights appeared and 'turned back', Bonnie was probably halfway up the hill to the Ski Lodge, but Clem was focused on the lights.
You might be thinking, 'How would they know that they would need to create a diversion?'
The answer presents itself in the form of previous events in the episode.
Carver already tracked the group to the cabin, ergo Carver is a pretty good tracker.
Judging by how Carver arrives at past midnight, his group (minus Bonnie) was probably half a day behind the Cabin GroupIt took Clem and co about half a day to get from the start of the bridge to the Ski lodge, meaning that once they got to the Ski Lodge, Carver's group, a half-day behind, would be at the start of the bridge...
...where Clem was shown looking with her binoculars,
and could clearly see the Ski Lift with them.
Combine that with the fact Troy is shown to own binoculars,
and how the Ski lift is exposed, he would blatantly be able to see Clem looking back at him, while using the rock Clem had previously been looking from as cover.
What did Luke do after he disappeared?
My personal theory for this is that Luke didn't get beaten up/knocked out by Kenny. I think he was genuinely concerned about Carver, and Kenny told him to screw off. In doing so and making his way back to the Cabin, Luke probably heard the gunfire of AK47s and decided it was too dangerous to go back. Instead he probably found cover and watched the events unfold, not having to worry about walkers as Carver and Co killed them all.
After this, he probably did one of two things:
Series of events A:
Luke went straight to the cabin after Carver and his prisoners left, and gathered as much weaponry as he could find, possibly noting Nick and Alvin's bodies in the process. Then he would go on to track Carver and follow them back to the settlement.
Series of events B:
Instead of following Carver, Luke retreats back down to Matthew's hut. In doing so he notices the radio/walkie talkie Matthew owned. Note that Clementine didn't even pick it up to check that it's dead, so she may have been wrong. This idea makes more sense for a number of reasons:
EPISODE 3: IN HARM'S WAY
EPISODE 4: AMID THE RUINS
EPISODE 5: NO GOING BACK
It'll be funny to look back on them when new episodes come out and see if our ideas were wrong.

- The episode 3 achievements seem to suggest that Clem will be communicating with someone via a walkie talkie, and the same brand as Matthew's is seen in the settlement.
- This way, it's easier for the determinant deaths (Alvin and Nick) to not have an impact on Luke. If Nick and Alvin die in the settlement before we next communicate with Luke, we'd have to break the news to him either way.
