I heard about it a month or so before Episode 1 was released. I'd already watched the first Season of the show and was beginning to get into the comics, but I figured that the game would just be a cheap cash in by Kirkman trying to milk all the money he could out of his IP and that it wouldn't be very good because of that. After seeing some pre-release gameplay (of the first 20 minutes, so from the beginning up until after the fight with Sandra) I thought it looked kind of decent. So, tentatively, I bought Episode 1 on Xbox the day it came out. After that, I never looked back. I'm glad I gave this game a chance.

I thought the same, I thought it would be a cheap cash in, back then I thought the show was pretty good, and I still think I was back then, season 1 and 2 were pretty great, and I had not read the comics, so I bought episode 1, it was 5 bucks so what could go wrong? Well after the first walker attacked Lee, well, I figured this was not a cash in.

I found out about it after Season 2 Announcement, but before Episode 6 hit.

With that I mean found out AND was willing to play it. I had seen footage before (Of Episode 1) and I thought it looked dumb, but then, on one AWESOME day of my life, I stumbled upon a Youtube comment. He said his next games to play were TWAU and TWD Season 2.

I was like 'Wow, isn't that this BS game that I saw a year ago or something? It got a second Season?'

I checked out TWAU first and was completley blown away. I wanted more Telltale, and so I bought Episode 1 of TWD Season 1 on PS3, later the Season Pass for PS3 and PC.

The rest is legend.

A random Youtube comment changed the course of my life FOREVER.

I started reading the comics (TWD and Fables), watched the TV show up to Season 3 (no more on Netflix) and wrote 3 Fanfictions, all of them canon to the original (and game) plot.
