I mean...
I like her I guess. I just need time to see if she calms down ever, because I can see her whole... thing, becoming annoying after a while. But for now, yeah, I generally like her.

She seems like all of the worst parts of the walking dead put into one package. The walking dead is at its best when it's examining human characters making human mistakes while facing extreme adversity. Think Kenny and Ben, or tainted meat, or Eugene. This character looks like she couldn't give a single fuck, is another retardedly strong badass (the cast had too many of those at two), and is apparently best described as aggressively quirky. To each their own, I'm just glad I'm not reading this anymore.

What annoying quirky shit does she do? Well, she talks in a weird stream of consciousness kinda way, and also just talks about some... weird subjects? Uh, so when she finds out that Yumiko and Magna are a couple she goes on a little tangent about how lesbians throw the best parties. There's also a bit where she... like... breaks down the diversity of their group? Which uh, is a bit weird and almost feels like Kirkman is congratulating himself on writing a diverse group of characters. She also debates over if Magna is white or not because she's Greek and she doesn't know if that means Magna is white or not and then iirc Magna just gets really annoyed and tells her to shut up. So... there's that. Which... is really awkward and weird but given the other character's reactions to her I assume it's intentionally weird and awkward. Also to be fair about the gay comment I'm not sure how Princess was supposed to react bc Yumiko did just kinda shout to the rest of the group that her and Magna were gay bc she and Magna were having a conversation about why Magna was still scared to be open about her sexuality even though her parents who were bigots are dead and Magna says something like "it's not that easy" and then to prove a point Yumiko shouts that she and Magna are gay. So, uh, yeah, kinda weird? So in that case I suppose I can excuse Princess for having a sorta weird response bc to the rest of the group who was not privy to the conversation, it was probably a weird moment. Anyway. Aside from that the purple hair and pink coat are certainly... a look. And she is another over the top badass. She singlehandedly takes out three Commonwealth guards when the Governor's son orders them to attack after Yumiko punches him bc he forcibly grabbed Magna and made some creepy sexual comments to her. ...Come to think of it I'm not... really sure why I like her? She's fun in small doses for now and the purposeful awkwardness of her style of talking and subjects of conversation versus the group's reaction to it is a fun(ny) little source of comedy for now. She plays well off of the other characters they've paired her with, I suppose. Especially Magna, who basically embodies... well, your reaction to her, pretty much. Magna thinks Princess is annoying and ridiculous and treats her with disdain in most cases, but this never really shakes Princess and she keeps poking fun at Magna for being the stoic badass buzzkill.

To each their own, I'm just glad I'm not reading this anymore. To be fair, Michonne and Jesus have since... settled down, I guess? They're never played up as the strong badasses much at all anymore. And unlike Michonne and Jesus where they were just kinda taken at face value, it's very clear that Princess is putting on a sort of act or persona that she personally finds amusing. She kindof knows she's a joke, and the other characters either find her a bit weird but mostly tolerate her, or actively treat her with disdain and dismiss her. So, while I kinda agree, at least Kirkman is more self-aware with this type of character than he was before?

I forgot it was Magna who has a problem with the class system. Everyone else is fine with it.
