So, who is reading them, except me and Harp? Which part are you at, what are you favourite characters?
From the characters who appeared before the end of the prison, I like Axel, Hershell, Glenn. Tyresse and Dale are okay too. From the newer characters- Abraham, Jesus, Negan and Eugene. I started to like Andrea too. Heath has potential, I hope he'll survive for a while.

I used to read them, at least I tried to. Only made it through the first episode before it grew boring. It could just me be not have the patience to read.

I'm up to date on them. Maybe it's just me, but comics never really worked for me. I apreciate the story, but can't get emotionally invested. I honestly don't really have any favorite characters right now.

I will be honest, the first character you mentioned came and went way to fast, I liked that character a lot to, and I got to admit, it was kind of a lame death, but oh well, better to have loved and lost then to have not right?

I guess you can say my hatred of the comics started with issue 98. My favorite character died, and he was one of the couple people I cared about. Then, the so-called 'monumental' issue 100 happened, which killed off another of my favorite characters. I found out I didn't care about any of the other characters. Also, I was growing tired of Kirkman's depressing view of bigotry and absurdism and forcibly pushing it on the characters for no reason other than the imposed 'nobody is safe' motto for the franchise.
To be honest, there's no real reason to read the comics anyways. Kirkman is just rehashing old storylines. Negan isn't terribly different from the Governor, and Hilltop/Alexandria is just another Prison/Woodbury. Don't even get me started about the tiger.
Predictable as hell too. Kirkman shifts around all questions he gets about Carl. I get it, he'll be the only survivor left at the end of all this. Give me a break.

I just don't really like the comics, to be honest. The only reason I keep reading them is because my friend keeps loaning them to me.

I don't think its bad, but the comic was at its best at the prison arch, after that, it did get go down a little bit.

Well most people think that, all I can say is, be prepared for a lot of moving around and death, followed by more slow stuff that is only recently coming to a head.
