Nope. You can only send it on dispatch missions. It was gonna be a buddy originally, but Kojima thought it would be too OP. Umm, what dispatch missions? I am still at gold B level, is it A level? Also that sucks, an OP buddy for beating the game would have been fun. If you go to your iDroid, there's a folder named dispatch missions; here you can send members of your combat team out on missions like those side missions in AC: Brotherhood.

I know of those missions, does it tell me if the Battlegear is being used? Because the highest mission is a B level to defend some oil pipes. The vehicle is clearly a tank, does it tell me when I get to that level?

I just end up capturing anyone that happens to be over a D rank in at least one specialty. I don't know how some people end up having a LV. 40 R&D team before they finish Chapter 1. I've played 20+ of the game after I beat it, and my R&D team is only LV 32!

I just looked up the ending because I really want to just play Fallout 4. You know it's funny, because I heard for so long that I was going to HATE the ending of MGSV. Well I thought it was okay, didn't anger me that much. Mostly because I thought it was going to be that Big Boss was dead the whole time. Thank Christ it wasn't. Still, the amount of flaws in chapter 2 was staggering to me. No resolution for most of the plot, goddamn it Konami!!!

Did you do ALL the yellow side ops, at least one extreme mission, and 100% bond with Quiet? That's what I did and I unlocked it. I actually thought the whole time Venom Snake wasn't Big Boss, but I thought VS would be a secret fourth clone rather than the medic from GZ. Still though, it does bring whole series full circle, since it explains how Big Boss showed up after Solid Snake supposedly killed him when he actually killed Venom Snake. Anyway, it felt like a satisfying end, and I'd be fine with this being the end of Metal Gear.

Anyway, it felt like a satisfying end, and I'd be fine with this being the end of Metal Gear. Yep, I bonded 100% with all buddy's, did every single available side mission, there were only 22 left, and I did all the extreme missions, I gave up on mission 44 because fuck that mission. I also listened to every taped conversation, and saw all Motherbase cutscenes. I don't know what is wrong, but what killed me, is that to trigger mission 46, you need to max out all stations on Motherbase. Fuck. That. Getting fuel is beyond tedious, and I needed to get three more stations, and I have Fallout 4 and Black Ops 3, so I gave up. And yeah, the ending was good, it didn't really tie up the game, but for the franchise it did answer a few lingering questions for the NES games. Oh, while I hated chapter 2 as a whole for being lazy, there was one bright spot. The second disease mission, you know, with the "mercy" and all? That was well done, not much else in that chapter, but boy did that one level stand out.

Am I the only one that wants the VGA version of Quiet's Theme but cleaned up?

I hated those VGAs, but damn if it didn't deserve best soundtrack. I could have lived with Fallout 4s soundtrack, but I can get behind MGSV. I mean good god, Sins of the Father is probably the best original song since Ballard of the Forresters. So awesome!

Finding the Snake Eater theme from MGS3 was awesome as all hell. Also may I just add, best usage of the Peace Walker theme ever, for that particular level.
