Had myself a hell of a time at Dave and Busters. They had the new Jurassic World VR game and it was the first one I played with three random strangers joining in. It was also my first time doing a VR game. It was quite the experience. I had seen youtubers play VR games before and one thing I realize from watching is that if something scary is coming at you, you can't move away from it or stop it. So, I thought to myself, if something terrifying comes at me, I'll just close my eyes and wait it out. But it didn't come to that, despite the big predator dinosaurs appearing. And the whole time, we had to use the remote to scan each dinosaurs we see.

Got to play all kinds of games there. There was also the new Tomb Raider game, which is based of the reboot of the franchise. It was supposed to be like up to 4 people joining in with Lara Croft on her adventure through the island. It got me thinking, "this is what it would be like if Nathan Drake joined in". The gun model was pretty accurate to the in-game model and it was hella fun to play. I was really going for the head shots. Hence my alias. (Also, it saves time and ammunition)

At one point, I went to play the Mario Kart game again, and as soon as put my card in, this family of five comes around the corner and three of them joins in. It was a very close race. I was about to win, right up until the guy next to me flattened me with a pan right at the finish line, and he got ahead of me. Had to give credit where credit was due.

Hell of a birthday this was for me this year. And now, if you will excuse me, I need to rest my head.
