Telltale seems to be teasing a Summer release.
Personally, I think the game could be interesting. I wish they would've held off for either Team Fortress 2 or a more story oriented shooter instead of going for Borderlands, but I think there is still some good potential. I think a part of the reasoning involves the founders of Telltale having wanted to apply Telltale gameplay to a large video game franchise, according to some article on Polygon.
Some have pointed out that on the Xbox screenshots, the button prompts have the same color scheme as the Xbox One buttons, which seems to indicate this will be a current gen XB1/PS4 title possibly in addition to what I imagine the usual platforms are.

Team Fortress 2 would've been better for telltale, not borderlands!

Would I change your mind if I said I was planning on making a Borderlands themed Kenny poster?

..... Maybe....
..... KENNY IS AWESOME! But that doesn't make Borderlands cool.

It is a fun franchise, it might not be smart, but it is fun, I still can't rap my head around it, but if its good, then sign me up!

A TF2 themed Telltale game? Now THAT I would pay money to play. Maybe adapt the comic books into a series?

WHAT? Fucking Tales from the Borderlands gets mother fucking Nolan North? What? What? WHAT!?! Oh come on, those voices would be much better suited for TWD, I mean do you know how much awesome it would be to have Troy Baker in TWD? He would fit so well, but no, lets give them to the Borderlands game, fuck!

Oh wonderful, they now have Chris Hardwick and Sam Witwer, the voice of Darth Maul in the Clone Wars, how is this project just lining up high profile people, and TWD has next to none beside Luke and Reggie, and one of those was not what I call long lasting.

Of all people in the world, I would have thought Chris Hardwick would go with TWD, and if they get Troy Baker I will be both happy and pissed, because that could have meant we would have had Booker/Joel in the Walking Dead, which would have been a new level of awesome.

Yeah it's really weird that Chris Hardwick is on board. I never expected him to be in a video game at all, and a Telltale one at that, the one that made a game based on TWD, which he runs a talk show for its TV show version? So strange, I do like the guy though, he is quite funny, but still, weird, this might top TWD pinball levels of weird.
