More information is starting to come out about this game, so we should have a thread for it! There's a lot of info in this video, but no real game footage I don't think.

I still just don't see it, either it has FPS gameplay and sucks because Telltale can't do FPS because they do Point and Click, or it's a Point and Click and therefore pisses off the Borderlands fans for not being all about guns, you can't win, they should scrap the idea, and go with Breaking Bad, now that is something they could work with.

They're not gonna scrap the idea at this point in time, I'd imagine.

I know, I just still fail to see it when there are several other games or TV shows that would work far better and have a lot more potential.

Hey, I personally thought TWDG wouldn't be so great and look at how that turned out.

Well, as long as TTG doesn't get anywhere near CSI again, i'm ok *shudders*

I know TWD ended up well, but I still have a hard time with this, as Borderlands is not known for good storytelling, its known for killing things, and getting guns, that is it, and either you go full on story without the gun part and piss off the fans, or you attempt the gun thing and fail because Telltale has never made a FPS ever, it could be good, but I am highly skeptical, i'll wait for a gameplay video but if its not good from said video, I might give up hope.

Borderlands is also known for having really memorable and funny characters. Does that not seem up TTG's alley?

What's your idea for a Telltale BB game?

What's your idea for a Telltale BB game? Not sure, likely a original story, and I know Telltale could do it, I trust them far more then a lot of people with it, problem is, there has never been a BrBa game, I feel that is because developers are scared as hell that if they mess it up, they will be burned to the ground by the fans, but Telltale can do it.

I feel as though it should be an epilogue to the story, starring Jesse Pinkman. Maybe with the Cartel. The stunt that Gus pulled would've hurt the Cartel, but the point of the Cartel is that there's no one man, nor a group of men, that you can kill and dissolve the cartel. The point is that the Cartel stops at the last man.

I wish they'd focus on series they're currently making than hyping this. I'm willing to bet that people pick it up, play it and then think "Well, it's no Walking Dead/Wolf Among Us."
Same with Game of Thrones. TWD didn't exactly have the greatest quality storytelling in its ongoing series before the game came out, so the game looks a lot better by comparison. GOT has pretty high quality story and TT's game might end up being viewed as mediocre by comparison.
I'm just sitting here hoping they'll announce TWD S3 at some point.
