I hope we get more if Carvers back story in episode 3. Something tells me he was a high official in the military, or a hardened criminal- either goes. But I'd lean more towards military because of his battle tactics and leadership skills. It was hinted Pete was in the military, maybe he was with him? It was never said if Carver knew anyone from the group before the apocalypse.
We know that:
Pete, Nick, Luke and Nick's Mom: all knew eachother before the outbreak and probably were together since the beginning of the apocalypse. Luke's parents were probably there at the beginning as well
Alvin and Rebecca: Married.obviously together since beginning of outbreak. But Rebecca got with carver at some point so...
Carlos and Sarah: Father and Daughter, probably together since beginning of outbreak
Carver: Unknown
BONUS
Juicy: Unknown
How do you think Carvers related to the cabin group? Or do you think he didn't know any of them before the outbreak?

I wonder if the cabin was there home before all of this, likely not, and yes I want to know more about Carver, he is one of the most interesting characters to date, and seeing how we are going to be trapped in his base, we will be seeing a lot of him.

It was nice to get Nick and Luke's backstory in ep2. Before we thought Luke had no connection to anyone in the group, but now we know Luke and Nick were best bros. So he probably knew Pete and Nick's mom as well

Yeah, we don't know Carver's motive yet. This whole 'love and redemption' thing from the ep3 trailer seems a bit religious.

I have no idea why I think this, maybe it's because of what Carver was saying during the "Next Time" segment, but I thought he was a priest or something before the apocalypse. Pretty weird, huh? I know.
But I like the military angle, Bromid. Especially if he served with Pete. It'd be awesome if the two of them were, like, in Vietnam together or something. Or not, but hey.

I replayed episode 2 yesterday. When carver asks "if they trust you" I made Clem say "Pete trusted me" and it seemed to me like he paused for a second. Then he said something like "oh? Did he..." It was kinda strange. Makes me think they were close...

Maybe, that would make sense as to why he shoots Pete if you went with him, or it could have been because of his hatred, who knows?

I do love how you can only say I trust Pete, not even Luke, which I am sure would have pissed him off, by the way, what happens if you go for the knife? What happens if you don't take Sarah's picture?

It you don't take the picture, I just said "it's a kid" and carver said "yeah, yeah it is" and he then knows you know them.

I see, I can clearly see trust matters a lot to Carver, trust and power, so yeah I am calling it, Bonnie is nice and tries to rebel, and quickly gets put down along with some of the cabin member's.
