So I just finished the episode, and it seems like you guys have already had a few conversations about it, so it's easier for me to get a grasp of what you guys did if I start a new thread rather than running around trying to find the start of different conversations.
AND OH MY FUCKING GOD WAS THAT WORTH THE WAIT.
Considering that PS3 EU doesn't even have a release date yet, let's just say I played the episode via less than reputable means. But it's okay because I already paid for the game on once platform. That's BASICALLY using an emulator, right?
Okay, let's start with the beginning, y'know, like normal people.
I was honestly hoping good old uncle pete would cut his leg off, or at least get Clem to do it, but it turns out he's no Lee, that's for sure. Then again Lee was kind of an idiot for letting himself bleed out.
Also, I was surprised at how kind the group was to Clem this time around, I mean, Rebecca was only a bitch half the time rather than all the time! And Carlos wasn't that bothered either.
And then there's Carver. God, when he flashes past the cabin windows I almost shat myself. He is one creepy motherfucker.
I took the blame for Sarah's photo.
Skip ahead a bit, and we have Pete's corpse. I wish his fate had been left ambiguous.
Also note that Luke and Nick hug, they went into business together and a certain someone calls them a 'match'. Pretty sure there's some sexual tension or something going on there.
Okay, now the bridge. I liked Matthew. I wish he didn't get neckshotted. He reminded me of Doug, comparing Doug's chalk trivia with Matthew's peanut butter rant.
And now the big one. I recognised the man himself while I was climbing down the ladder from that ski thingy, and seeing his text colour sealed the deal. I honestly thought that at any moment it'd be revealed that Clem was hallucinating but it was true, the 'stache lives on. Obviously I chose the option to hug him.
I knew the Ski Lodge would be too good to be true. I wasn't that keen on Sarita, either. Feels like Kenny has pushed Kat & Duck to the back of his mind. She grew on me.
I liked Walter too, but I thought that he'd be a complete psycho, not a nice guy. Shame what happened.
The dinner seating choice was probably the hardest decision at the time, in the end I chose Luke because I hoped Kenny would understand that the groups hadn't merged yet and the Cabin group were more Clem's people than his group. That's just how it works.
Then there's the option to give Nick up. I told Walt the truth because Nick is a fucking idiot, even though I told Pete I'd look after Nick. In the end Nick didn't die.
I left to find Kenny. Alvin didn't die.
Though this episode beats episode 1 by like a million times, episode 3 looks kind of dull. Get to spend 2 hours as a prisoner doing chores. Fun. And it'll end on a cliffhanger leading into an episode that will be more interesting. I'm expecting a Train Puzzle type episode.
Also Bonnie is a huge bitch. She is dead as soon as I get the chance to kill her.
Anyone reckon Eddie will be in Carver's 'prison'?
