To take the words loosely from Clem's mouth, she said to Nick, "I knew somebody like you, he was always fucking things up too." Nick definitely seems like a more believable Ben, problem is he's a determinant death. Do you think he'll be a help in episode 3? Or just more Ben antics.. Do you think all the determinant characters like Nick will die in the next episode?
I kind of like him, and I promised Pete I'd look after him but at the end of the day he's not Clem's responsibility.

Nicks cool. He has some faults but he means well. He's actually pretty good with a rifle, and I just like him all around, he's just chill. Sure he does stupid things sometimes, but mostly he's cool. He's like a mixture of Ben and Kenny. So that sort of conflicts a bit because Ben and Kenny are parallel opposites. Plus Pete's dying wish for my Clem was to look after Nick, and Pete was my favorite character, so look after Nick I will.
Also, he's human. Human characters are the best characters. Characters that can make mistakes

Nick's cool. He can risk his life for Clem if you save him. He's better than Ben, in my opinion.

Yeah, his only real mistakes were almost shooting Clem, and killing Matt on the bridge. I hope he doesn't get snuffed too early next episode, being a determinant character now.. We've got a couple of those characters now.. I wonder what Telltale is planning.

Nick's better than Ben. Let's hope Carver doesn't end up popping him in Ep. 3.

I like Nick a lot better than Ben. He fucks up and is suicidal like Ben, but we never really got to explore that side of Ben like we get to with Nick. If Nick is still alive (like he is in my save, thankfully) I think a good deal of the Season will be helping him overcome his survivor's guilt and come to terms with the deaths of Pete and, possibly, his mother. He's a good kid, and he deserves to live.

Yeah, it'd be nice if Telltale gives us a chance to fulfill Pete's dying wish. Hopefully Nick doesn't keep fucking up, and up, and up, and up like Ben did last season.

For the record I hope he survives episode 3, not likely.

But IS Nick helpful? Is he really? About the only helpful thing he does is distract the walkers for Clem if you begin the Episode with him, but he's also doing it because he wants to die. Nothing else he does is even remotely helpful in anyway. If you don't believe me, just ask Matthew.

Hey, at least he shoots a gun instead of running away. That makes him better than Ben in my book.

I wouldn't go as far to say he's been helpful, but he's not even close to reaching Ben levels of fuckery. Ben was such a shit pickle.
At least shooting Matt seems slightly justifiable from his view, the guy was holding a gun and Luke and Clem were just standing there.

He hasn't done anything exceptional. That's not bad in and of itself, as neither have most members of the new group, but he's the only one who's fucked up to such a degree as to require such acts in order to be considered helpful. Matthew is dead because of him. He has to make up for that.
