"120 Shrine mini-dungeons, 900 Korok seed puzzles, 76 side quests all mapped out and ready for you to discover and complete! Also includes optional challenges, mini-games, unlockables, Easter eggs, and more."
That's from the official BotW guide.

Well, I got the Nintendo switch and I didn't even preorder it. I just went to a shop and I- well, my mum- asked if they had nintendo switches in stock and they were like 'Yep!' And that was that.
So I got home, set it up and just played Breath of the Wild for the rest of the night. I decided to test out the tablet and it was fun, just as good on the TV. I haven't gotten very far yet. I've been pissing about and admiring the game world, trying to figure out all this new shit like breakable weapons and running into fights like an idiot. But I'm getting the hang of it, and I'm hoping to make some real progress today.
You can also ride any horse you want in this game. I want to find a fucking horse. And then i want to find Epona, my one and only.
I'm in love.

I'm not very far either, I played for like 6 hours, but I'm impressed by all the things that you can do and how the world reacts to what happens. I'm not sure I'd rate it 10/10 as some of the reviews did, but it's certainly a really fucking good game.

Ugh, I went to a midnight launch at my local Gamestop and I was able to get the game, but not a Switch. My birthday's on the 20th. so I'm hoping I can get one by then.

Epona is apparently somewhere in the game, but no one has found her yet as far as I'm aware. And I think you find the master sword later on the game.

Also, I finally found a horse. Two of them. One of them had really shit stats but it was the first one I tamed, but the second, oh boy, he's way better. I've been using him for a while.

I really want BOTW but I'm finding it hard to justify buying a Switch for it though, I mean I have more than enough expendable cash for it but eh I'm still not sure.

Damn are the critics in love with it. Its the highest rated Zelda since, I think Ocarina of Time which is the highest rated game in history. Rather impressed.
