You guys are making me worried about Ep2 of TFTBL and GOT now because they'll probably be written by other people. If only Andrew Grant could write all 6 episodes of GOT. Who's Andrew Grant? Writer for GOT? Also, TFTBL Ep2 is, I believe, being written by Pierre Shorette just like Episode 1 was. I think Troy Baker mentioned it during his interview on Up at Noon. He wrote Episode 1 of GOT. I wish the writers were kept consistent so the writing - and more importantly, the writing quality - was kept consistent. IIRC the last TTG Episode Grant wrote before GOT Episode 1 was when he co-wrote All That Remains. Writing six episodes in a year is probably not too much like hard work.

Well, they don't want to burn the writers out and overwork them. Even Season 1 of TWD changed the writers up between Episodes.

Previous games of TTG had also writer rotation, or that started with TWD?

How you guys turned this back into a serious discussion so quick, I'll never know. Bravo. Breckon for season 3. I get the feeling that No Going Back wasn't his fault. He probably wrote House Divided with the idea of a Kenny/Luke decision in mind and was forced to think on his feet once that choice became obvious. (I'll blame Job for that shit. Sure, some would speculate a Kenny/Luke choice just based on raw speculation that the who to sit with at dinner choice was foreshadowing, but Job blew it the fuck UP with that bullshit pizza and ice cream, can't have both tease. It's funny, the guy won't give us proper updates in between episodes, but he has no problem spoiling the entire ending and forcing a rewrite.)

Luke falling through the bridge was probably foreshadowing for the ice lake, though. Could've been that they were getting people to think that the Luke and Kenny choice would be a thing and then change it to surprise people but the way it turned out left everyone with a sour taste in their mouth because it was more like "Luke VS Kenny is going to be a thing!" instead of "I think Luke Vs Kenny might be a thing at some point..." They pushed the Luke/Kenny thing too far and treated their audience like idiots. Had they kept it more subtle Kenny vs Jane may have come off slightly more favourable but still, Luke/Kenny should've always been the end point.

Agreed, them more I think about it, while I think Jane vs Kenny was good, I feel Luke vs Kenny would have been more impactful because hey, we spent a full season with him, and Kenny was two full seasons, instead of really just two episodes and the ending of one, again it's fine the way it is, it just could have been better that way, it was still a hard choice as it was, but my god, it would have been impossible with Luke.

I'm guessing he's the lead writer for GOT...

Andrew Grant really made Iron From Ice feel like an actual GOT episode.

Andrew Grant really made Iron From Ice feel like an actual GOT episode. He sure did, and within two and a half hours, he erased all the pain and suffering I had to go through with the only other two GOT games, GOT RTS and GOT RPG... I don't wish those games on my worst enemy, and yet just two hours of a six part game instantly made it all better, and made me seriously watch the whole series going, "So this is probably what the Forresters were doing," and even watching all of season 3 and 4 looking hard for perhaps a cameo of a character, that is skill right there or I don't know what truly is.

All I have to say is, Telltale, please don't screw this up, you have such a great start with both this and TFTBL, please don't screw it up.
