Also, personal nitpick. The Western Revolver? Literally just a reskin of the .44 Revolver. That ticked me off.

Almost finished with Nuka World. Dunno if I've said it before in this thread or if someone else has, but Courtenay Taylor does FANTASTIC voice work. Especially for the "Sarcastic" response options. Her delivery is fucking laugh out loud funny. All her "play along" lines in Dry Rock Gulch were amazing.
This was my favorite though, 8:27-8:50:

What is it with the female voice actors being better when there is a choice? Because the same thing happened with Mass Effect, Jennifer Hale was leaps and bounds better then Mark Meer no matter what.

Mark Meer had a bit of a rough start in ME1 perhaps, but on the whole I much prefer his voice to Jennifer Hale. Hale is obviously an extremely talented voice actress and does a good job as Shepard, I just find I like Mark Meer more.

I think both voice actors got better as the series went on, I say this as I was replaying the series and the voice quality is notably better from each game onward. But I feel Hale had a better running start, and she is a lot better at being a sarcastic asshole then Meer. But she also sells being a warm hearted and caring leader pretty damn well.

I heavily disagree. Jennifer Hale sounds waaay too manly, and sometime sounds like she grunts out her lines. Male Shep has such a badass voice, especially in ME3

Started playing Fallout 1 again last night. It's fun. I was initially just going to be a generally alright character who might say some deceptive things and do a bit of shady stuff like stealing, but one thing led to another and now the whole settlement of Junktown is out for my blood because I shot one peasant for being annoying. It escalated into all the guards and merchants trying to kill me, and me killing them in self-defense. Vault Dweller just wants a quiet life but these people keep attacking me so I have to shoot the place up.
It's pretty neat how you can steal a shotgun from Vault 13 early on without too much consequence, that's really helped me in my merry murderous madness.

Hale is good, but he's better

Check it out next time you play Fallout 2...

You guys run into Evan at the southernmost point of Nuka World yet? He's a tribute character to a guy that lost his brother and father recently. Pretty cool story. I met the character before I ran into the story and knew something was unique about him. Not even the randomness of him, he was just so unbelievably laid back and appreciative and kind for the Fallout world.
I mean, I've used this DLC to go full raider on the Commonwealth (DISCIPLES), but I would never, ever fuck with him.

He's like Michael Mamaril from Borderlands 2. A touching tribute to a fan. He's also essential, which means he can't be killed. I like that. For all the problems I have with essential NPCs in this game I'm glad that at least he is.

Finished Nuka World.
No offense to Gage, but I really wanted to romance Nisha. Or maybe Mags. Preferably Nisha.

Jeez, take over one settlement in the name of Raiders and Preston Garvey throws a hissy fit. Calm down dude, you and your annoying boring friend's would have died in a museum if it weren't for me.
Bonus, at least now he won't talk to me ever again. I regretted romancing him the second I did it and now it's like it never happened. My character went black and, in fact, got to go back.

There is a goddamn good reason that is the new arrow in the knee joke.
