I'll get those mods whenever I reinstall NV. I prefer FO3, which I'm playing quite a bit at the moment. NV just doesn't feel as open, y'know. And also, no Three Dog. And no Vaults, I think. My favourite Fallout 3 mod is the one that removes the green tint from everything. Sometimes the simplest things are the best. Edit: Oh, also, I heard recently that Fallout 4 had been confirmed for 2015, and that it had been confirmed to take place where most HP Lovecraft stories take place(the person I heard it from is a huge Lovecraft fan). Edit edit: Fuck. i.imgur.com/q1pBl.pngThere were plenty of Vaults, and Bio listed most of them. And I much prefer Mr. New Vegas to Three Dog, but Three Dog is cool too. And don't worry about strange color tints. The guy who made the mod that removes the green tint from F3 (which is called "Fellout") also made one for New Vegas that removes the orange tint from everything (Fellout: NV). Also, that guy is a jackass. Getting our hopes up like that. I personally liked Mr. New Vegas a lot, Three Dogs is great though, favorite NV song would be Big Iron, my first ever Marty Robbins song, no regrets, also do you remember the name of that one Vault I am missing? The really fucked up one where you had to kill someone to keep it running? And it fell into Civil War and a lot of terrible things happened? Its probably my favorite Fallout Vault ever, so awesome, you know what I am talking about?

Oh, and also: Ah, Vault 11, also I forgot 19, 11 was the one where I literally had to say, "Man this is fucked up," I mean to keep power and life support running, you had to kill someone every year I think? Mothers made there children go into a room never to come back, and people got sick of it and rebelled, killing all but a handful of the people in the Vault, and when it came time to sacrifice another, they didn't, and waited for the Vault to explode, except that never happened, the idea of the Vault was to see what people would do if they were told that had to sacrifice someone every year, and the correct choice was not to do it, they were free to go, and the remaining members all killed themselves out of such shame, man that is really, really fucked up, even for Fallout standards.

It was the Overseer that they sacrificed each year, not just random citizens. And after the civil war, when only five were left, they all killed themselves except for one guy who is presumably out in the wasteland somewhere.

Which mod? Bounties 2 was supposed to be harder than bounties 1, so if that's what you're talking about then yes. Try not to Taunt the bad guys, because then they get all kinds of stat boosts and additional backup which makes your life even harder. Try doing it with companions, maybe?

Yeah, its suppose to be like that, which makes it all the more gratifying when you kill them all!

So, for those of us who play Bounties, do you generally try to take targets alive in Bounties 2? I do that as often as I can. I even managed to get Red Bear to surrender without a fight and got the full reward. Now he's swinging by his neck back in Shady Sands.

I always wonder why these guys bother giving up, its not like they are going to live when you surrender!

To get them to surrender, you need to pass certain skill checks such as speech, perception, stuff like that.

Look at that, I'm bumping this thread again. How surprising.
Anyways, just out of curiosity I'd like to ask those of you that have played New Vegas which side of the conflict that you prefer. NCR, Legion, House, or Independent. I usually go for the NCR myself, but House is a close second. I've only done one playthrough of Indy and two of Legion. I find NCR and House to be more enjoyable.

NCR all the way, its the most fun, and I also feel its the best ending.

I feel that House is the best ending if you're looking for happiness but the NCR also has quiet a bit of good. I side with them because they're the most "western" of the factions and I feel sorry for the troops stuck in the Mojave. But if those troops were even a little like Oliver or Moore or Kimball, then I'd pick house every time.
