The most offensive line in history of [Show: I'm thinking Boondocks. not sure though] Wait, wait, wait. Did you really just take offense to that? The point of this line is the fact that it's so stupid. At this point in the episode, his brother sat next to him in a crowded movie theater. Riley is supposed to look dumb and offensive. no. I was not offended. If Jane pointed out that the man next door was being offensive that wouldn't mean the man next door was offending her.

Since this is the Bonnie Appreciation thread, and Bonnie is one of my favorite characters, I think I should post something here....

If I had said back in March that I didn't think Bonnie was bad, a group of TWD fans would have torn me apart, now, they would applaud, funny how things work.

If I had said back in March that I didn't think Bonnie was bad, a group of TWD fans would have torn me apart, now, they would applaud, funny how things work. I was in that position on the TTG Forums. I refused to accept that Bonnie would be a villain, and got bombarded with downvotes every single time by all the Bonnie haters. Now they're all with me. It's really weird how things work out like that, you're right.

Yeah, I was without question in the minority when I said outloud, "She is not all that bad," now its a universal opinion.

That was what I was doing to. The "I TOLD YOU SO" was so sweet.

I liked Bonnie and thought she was a strong character in 400 Days. I'm actually pretty glad that she's the 400 Days character that became a main character. I just like her personality. Although Shel is probably my favorite 400 Days character, Bonnie does have a distinctive toughness that Shel doesn't.
Also, Post #1. Let the games begin.

I liked Bonnie and Shel in 400 days as well. I remember some people not really liking Bonnie very much because they thought she was weak. But personally, I found her fragility to be very endearing. She just wanted someone she could trust. Anyone. And I guess that's where Carver came in.
Shel I thought would have made a good PC. She's calm, reasonable, empathetic. And her relationship with Becca was interesting a ripe for exploration. Shame it didn't end up happening.

The reason I wasn't a fan of Bonnie back then was her story. For me, it was the weakest and least interesting of 400 Days. I still think that, but after In Harm's Way I've really warmed up to Bonnie. I hope she makes it to the end of the Season.

You didn't think it was interesting? How often do you get to play as "the other woman" in a game? The other woman who goes on to accidentally bash in the head of the first woman.

Playing as a hardcore drug addict who bashes people's faces in in the middle of a dark cornfield? I was looking for The Walking Dead, not GTA: Georgia.

I agree with you about being glad that Bonnie was a main character. She was one of my favorites from the DLC. But I can't say that I would call her tough. Don't get me wrong. Depending on how you play her in 400 days, she can either have a strong moral compass, or a very, very strong moral compass. But at the same time, we see her willingly (to some extent, I doubt it would have gone well for her if she said no) with a very evil man. Bonnie's intentions are good, and they have always been good since the 400 days DLC. In the latest episode, we see her give up her (relatively) comfortable position in Howe's because she is appalled by Carver's actions.
What I like about Bonnie's character is that she feels guilty about anything wrong she does, or any suffering she causes, but she feels obliged to defend others who commit those actions when she is working for them, largely because she always sees the brighter side of something first. As she said, "I'm alive because of him. That's just a fact." . I can really relate to the way she acted, and I probably would have done what she did in her position.
