The part where Elizabeth tells Booker she misses him... The worst part about that is that she is starting to treat something her mind created as real. She's slowly going insane the entire time.

I know right? Its what I hope never happens to Clementine, that line right there broke my heart, and yes, she is talking to herself, her subconscious, depressing I know.

Yeah, imagine if she started to imagine Lee... That would be depressing, it was depressing enough here, but in a way she is not going crazy, and her subconscious did help. I guess the most depressing part is, she had a choice, she didn't have to go back, she could have moved on, Booker never had a choice, Elizabeth did, but she turned about face and went back to make up for what she did, that is so selfless, and in the end, she didn't just make it all up, but started a great chain of events that would one day, end the nightmare of Rapture, you can't help but be proud, it was more then what was ever asked, such a great character, simply unforgettable.

I just finished Ep2, and... man. It left me dead inside. I was expecting(and hoping for) the ending to be much more climactic, though. I like that it brings the Bioshock trilogy(pentilogy, now that there's kind of 5?) full circle, although I expected that to happen. I also expected that Liz was going to be killed by Atlas. I still think there are Booker's left, but if that is the case, then yes, those are the only two left, and at the end, shes sees Booker still alive, the only friend she ever had in her life, the one person who did not use her, did not manipulate. Actually... - That's not Booker, that's Jack from Bioshock 1. He's even wearing the sweater.
- Booker did manipulate her. When he said he was bringing her to Paris, even though he was planning on bringing her to New York to pay off the debt.

Is it possible that Bio got his Bioshock facts wrong?
My god...

I feel like pointing and laughing but then again, that would be mean.
I'm just kidding, Bio.

No, one of the last things she says before dying is, "I saw him, alive," She was seeing the Booker at the end of Infinite, and that put her mind at ease, and yeah I went in with a open mind, expecting it to be good, but not sad, instead I got a great game, with the saddest ending since TWD, holy fuck, I guess I could complain and say I wanted a happy ending, but that would be petty.

Also yes he did manipulate her, I did not forget that, but he did at a point, start to care and see her as more then just a ticket to a free debt, and so in my opinion, he was the only one that did not manipulate her, and saddest thing? She really never got to go to Paris, that dream was the closest thing ever, also what did you think of 'that' scene, you know what I mean.

I get what you mean- also, by 'that' scene do you mean the eye scene? I'll assume for now that you mean the eye scene. During that scene, I actually started to feel sick. I managed to control myself and not feel too sick, but I still felt kind of sick, which I had never experienced from a game before.

Same, it was worse then Lee cutting his arm off, and Clem stitching herself, seriously I have never felt so uncomfortable before while playing game, well I applaud Irrational on that, they made me more squeamish then ever before, great work, though I find it odd that Ken Levine said that he sees Elizabeth like his daughter, and has a extreme strict no rule 34 with her, okay, and then you almost did that? Okay, also because of that, and what happens soon after, is why I hate Atlas even more then Lilly, shocking I know.

Yeah I felt, not good, hell when he tapped the needle for the first time, I screamed because I did not see it coming, my mom thought I fell, and just thinking about it makes my nose hurt, and they foreshadowed it along with the Ace and the death at the end, damn that dream had a lot of good foreshadowing.

Okay here is my very long full thoughts on Burial At Sea Part 2, starting from the start, I thought Paris might be one of the most beautify locations in a game, just as great looking as Columbia and Rapture when it was working. I liked seeing what Elizabeth's perfect Paris was like, a mixture of the old 1800s and the modern early 1900s, it fits her personality very well. The dream going from perfect to a nightmare was done really well, it legitimately creeped me out a bit. On a side note, I loved all the foreshadowing in the dream, a gallery of silhouettes of all the characters from Bioshock and Infinite that appear in the DLC, an Ace flying by the screen, a advertisement for a lobotomy, and a statue of Elizabeth's tower in the rain, making it look like its crying, perfect and subtle, well done. The whole thing starting off with a Splicer playing Russian roulette sent's the tone of Part 2 pretty well, and reminds me quickly just how fucked up Rapture it. Atlas (AKA Frank Fontaine) was used perfectly, and its good to see a actual model for him now. The whole thing with Elizabeth's subconscious being Booker and telling her what to do was interesting, it through me for a loop for sometime. Now the first big twist, the whole Elizabeth is dead yet alive in this universe, what a good mind fuck, just like the twist in Part 1, and the whole game. It really made me think long and hard, and I still am to, so good job Ken Levine, you made me think long and hard for the third time. I LOVED the places in the DLC, the Ryan the Lion academy in particular was amazing, I always wanted to know how Andrew Ryan teaches the children of Rapture. The whole stealth mechanics were really good, a lot better then Thief 2014, which the irony in that is stunning, Levine made Thief 1 as his first game, and his last thing with Irrational was stealth, and was better then the latest Thief. Also don't fail to notice 1998 mode, nice one Ken, and how Elizabeth is called a 'thief' a few times. The crossbow was badass, it fit Elizabeth's personality like bread and butter, it was so much fun to use a noise arrow to draw splicers into a room, and then gas them. The whole DLC fit her personality well, from the fact she knocks them out with the Air Grabber instead of crushing there heads was nice, to how she shoots the guns, she pulls the hammer back on the revolver slower and at a odd angle, and takes longer to reload. Also I LOVED how they showed how Elizabeth sees somethings, like the lock picks or blueprints, that was a sweet touch. Speaking of lockpicks, that was also fun, it was simple, yet great. The use of glass and water as a sound was good, again a lot like Thief, but that is never a bad thing. Peeping Tom was a cool Plasmid, again it fit the game quite well. Another nice feature was all the vents that gave you knew paths and items, kind of like Deus Ex, which is also great. Suchong as a major character was cool, I found him interesting in Bioshock 1, and to see him fleshed out more was nice. Going back to Columbia was so great, learning that Daisy was against killing kids, seeing just how smart Fink was, again it added to the characters. Learning how Songbird became Elizabeth's protector was also great, and the parallel later on was just perfect. Now I must say, I loved Part 1, that gets a 9.5 from me, that 0.5 is only because I wanted to see more Andrew Ryan. He was such a complex and iconic character, that I just wanted more, and I got just that. On another side note, the areas in the hub were really cool, the Sting Ray was beautiful even thought it was already destroyed, the place where they repair and sell bathspheres was a cool little touch, I always wanted to know how you sell those things. Here comes a huge part, the part when Atlas turns on Elizabeth and tortures her, that was so fucked up on so many levels, it was worse then Lee losing his hand and Clem stitching herself, and I never thought I would see such a thing. Before Part 2, I saw Atlas as an asshole who ruined many lives, and deserved the death he got in Bioshock, but after this scene, oh man, he propelled higher then Lilly, the bitch that has driven me insane for two years, I can't applaud Irrational games enough on that, I mean, I knew they were good, but this good? No... I mean even now it creeps me out, the thought of a huge needle going through your noise, through two and a half inchs of skull, and you losing cognitive function, memory, independent thought, independence overall, and then death, fuck I don't know if I could even do that to Lilly, yes I said that, take note. After that, here comes another favorite part of mine, I had been racking my brains trying to think of what the Ace in the hole was, and only when I got to the Artemis suits is when I realized it was Jack, or at least part of that equation. Seeing Elizabeth be the person that made Big Daddy's, well, daddy's was so cool, yes it contradicts Bioshock 2, but do we really care? Now I REALLY LOVED seeing Suchong's death, it plays out exactly like the audio diary in Bioshock, so seeing that was cool, and how the last diary is the Mind Control Test diary from Bioshock 1 was cool. Now here come's the end, now through out the whole DLC, I was praying that Elizabeth would somehow live, I mean she is like a daughter to me. I never saw her as a girlfriend, no, she was a daughter to me, family, just like Clementine, so I was hoping she would somehow make it. So to say I was saddened to see Atlas beat her to death with a wrench that I am sure would be Jack's wrench in the near future was devastating. Now the whole story for Part 2 was fantastic, it really felt like the end of a era, which it was. It made me more proud of Elizabeth, she could have moved on, she had the choice, Booker never had a choice, she did, but instead she choose to go back when she could have moved on. She did it all just because she felt guilty using Sally, it shows that even though she is a DeWitt, she is not a violent person. She went through with Atlas's plan, not because she trusted him, in fact she knew he was going to betray her, she was just that perceptive, she did it to make sure Sally would live. She could have moved on at a second moment, she could have just took a bathsphere and left, or sided with Andrew Ryan, and would have likely lived, but she choose to still go with Atlas, because if she left, Sally would die. So she made the ultimate sacrifice to make up for what she did. But she did not just finish a debt she had, she started the beginning of the end, Atlas would have broken out of that jail one day, that was inevitable, but him getting "Would you Kindly?" was something he might have never gotten. If he had not gotten that, then Jack would never have come, and therefore he would still be alive, either fighting a endless war with Ryan, or winning at a point. She set the chain of events that would one day lead to the end of the Rapture nightmare, and the death of Atlas, and she sees these events as she is dying, knowing her actions were all for something. The last thing she sees is Sally along with four other Little Sisters at the surface with Jack, which means Sally would one day get a proper education, get married, and have kids, a good life, something Elizabeth never got to see. Now I would be lying if I said the last couple of minutes were not sad, hell they were just as sad as when Lee died, which is really saying something. I do believe Irrational got every emotion out of me, which is something I was not expecting. The very last scene, with Sally singing that french song to a dying Elizabeth, who pats her on the head, and looks at her with tears in her eyes, was so perfect. Adding to the sadness, the credits, which had Courtnee Draper singing a song, I am not sure what the song was, but it was done so well that it just added to the sadness. The extreme last scene is the tail end of Jack's plan sinking into Rapture, the circle is complete perfectly. So yeah that is my complete thoughts on Burial At Sea Part 2, yeah it was long, but it has to be said. Elizabeth was my favorite female character of all time, yes, better then Ellie, and I consider Clem a child character, not a female character, even though her gender is female. I cared about her so much, I was so protective, it was like I Booker DeWitt. I mean I admit, I wanted a happy ending, but I am not mad, I mean I still can't accept she is gone, but it was perfectly done. I mean if you don't feel bad when she dies, what is wrong with you? She went through hell, from never having a childhood, to tortured by Comstock, to having to drown her dad, to all that happens in this DLC, she takes more abuse then Lara Croft yet never gave up, you can't help but be so proud of her. So final word, it's amazing, if all that text was not enough for you to figure that out, I give it a perfect 10/10, my rating for Clash in the Clouds was a 9/10, and Part 1 was a 9.5. I was not asking for much, I just wanted more Andrew Ryan and that was it, after I heard Irrational was closing, I wanted it to end on a good note, I got so much more. This was the best DLC I have ever bought, the best, it was somehow better then Red Dead's Undead Nightmare, its breathtaking. I recommend it to everyone that liked Bioshock or Bioshock Infinite, it was perfect, I have literally nothing to complain about, nothing, na da, I am shocked. So in closing, I can't think of a better way for Irrational to not just end there greatest franchise, but there great company. To me, the franchise is over, tied up perfectly, in to games that took ten years to finish it all, never milked one bit. I know 2K will just make another Bioshock game, but I won't buy it, I won't even say it exist, the end of Bioshock was where it all began, Rapture. Thank you Ken Levine, you made my favorite game of all time, some of my favorite characters, and game me memory's that I will remember for the rest of my life, thank you Ken, and all the rest of you great folks at Irrational, I salute all of you, this final message is for all you.
