Loved it. Just made me realize how much I want a sequel. I liked the contrast between Ellie and Riley's storyline of not having any combat, and winter Ellie's storyline being full of it. One of the couple gripes I had about the DLC is that there were way too many enemies at the end. Felt unnecessary. Also, Ellie's kiss. It's confirmed in the spoilercast by Neil that she's attracted to some degree to Riley, but I highly doubt she's lesbian: www.ign.com/articles/2014/02/14/the-last-of-us-left-behind-spoilercast-podcast-beyond-episode-329

Okay maybe it was more then people think.

When I see Ellie and Riley's kiss scene my interpretation is that Ellie wanted to know what it felt like to kiss someone, to share a connection with someone in a rush of affection. Ellie was born into this apocalyptic world, she hadn't seen Riley who she had a close bond with for more than 40 days (can't remember the exact number but it was above 40 I'm sure) she thought Riley was dead and to suddenly have her best friend back gave her great happiness.
Ellie probably had never shared a kiss with someone before, this is the apocalyptic world and the pressure on her shoulders is unthinkable, there is no time for romance. What happened between Ellie and Riley was a brand new experience as Ellie has not been brought up in a world like ours.
It doesn't necessarily mean that she is attracted to Riley, it doesn't necessarily mean she's a lesbian. They are friends, and getting Riley back made Ellie want to express how much Riley meant to her and not wanting her to leave her ever again. To be together as friends, always.
That's what I think.

Yeah. To me it felt like Riley was the only real person Ellie's had a good connection with, so it's normal that she ended up kissing her in the spur of the moment.

Hello, I'm back from the dead just to share how wonderful I thought this DLC was. It was so beautiful, I loved how it was mostly story based. Although it was a bit short, I loved all the bold moves and risks they took making this DLC. And they Ellie and Riley kiss was a part I loved especially. I thought it was adorable, and I didn't see it coming. Of course my favorite part ever was the pun book scene, just brilliant.

They're planning on making a 16 hour game into a 2 hour movie?

They're planning on making a 16 hour game into a 2 hour movie? Yep. It's going to suck. This is terrible news. Let's hope it falls through.

Granted Ken Levine was going to make a Bioshock movie, it did not work out but it was not a sellout.
