Beauty says herself she knew "The Crooked Man"and took a loan from him. Also, if you interrogate Dee, he mentions Beauty is his "co-worker" of sorts and he knows her well. I'm think the Crooked Man is Dee and Dum's boss. But what does he want them to investigate for? Even Episode 3's title is "A Crooked Mile" and The Crooked Man's origins come from the old nursury rhyme that begins with:
"There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile."
The whole thing is:
"There was a crooked mile, and he walked a crooked mile. He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile. He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse, And they all lived together in a little crooked house."
Many Fables are based off nursury rhymes, like Georgie Peorgie for example. I'm excited to see who he his. My guess is we will confront this "Crooked Man" in episode 3. Maybe they will be a cool fight scene with him.

I like the Crooked Man nursery rhyme. It's my childhood.
My grandad bought me a book of nursery rhymes and gave it to me when I was younger.

I hope the character is cool. I wonder what he'll look like. For some reason I always think that he will look like Ichabod, but that's probably because he'll be an old skinny dude

God if we were to fight the Crooked Man, I think it would be more of a hide and seek type fight than an all out brawl. Here's a little game to get you educated on the Crooked Man: vgperson.com/games/crookedman.htm

Almost a week ago I actually found animation files for Crooky in the Ep1 files. However, there were no actual models for him at the time. I didn't realise that animations wouldn't be able to show me what he looked like- I thought they might have a vector graphics type outline of his body shape- and I spent a few hours trying to open them, with no actual purpose. In the new Episode 2 files, however, he does have a .d3dmesh file- which is the telltale equivalent of a model file. Technically d3dmesh files don't actually show the body just on their own- what you see ingame is the d3dmesh + the d3dtx(textures), meaning the d3dmesh is just that- a mesh. An outline. It might still give us some information on his appearance, if somebody knew how to actually open or decode d3dmesh files. I should probably point out that d3dmesh files are just specially encrypted versions of dds files- I think it's dds, anyway. They're encrypted versions of something. Sadly, after a lot of googling, I can't find a d3dmesh opener/decoder, and all the forum posts I've seen on other websites(through Google, of course) regarding them are usually both of the following: a) Very little actual information, can only really be made sense of by anybody who already knows a bit about 3D modelling and such b) Really old, with all of the users being listed as 'offline'. This means that anyone who actually knows stuff about these files is unreachable, at least without further investigation to find any other online identities they may have.
I do remember seeing a post recently on an old forum about how d3dmesh files are encoded differently in different Telltale games- three tiers of them, I think they said, and they mentioned the third, most recent tier(most recent at the time, which was actually not much more than half a year ago, despite all the users being eerily offline) being the least complicated.

I have a feeling he'll either A. be glamoured to look like either G-Man or the Illusive Man from Mass Effect, or B, he'll look like a normal human who can transform into a creepy elongated neck demon, like Beast and Bigby.

doubt he'll be like the one in the game. Eh, I've never heard of him outside the game, so that's what I'm going off.
