Lol. It looks like Doom was right. This is pretty much 4 straight pages of us arguing, so much so that the argument shifted without a clear victor.
EDIT: 5

She's not even taking Alvin away. She's just telling him the truth. He can do with it as he will. Personally, I don't think he'd leave Rebecca even if he found out. The only thing that Clem is holding over Rebecca's head is Rebecca's own immoral action. And the only stipulation that Clem has is that Rebecca just stop bitching her out and trying to get her kicked out of the group. Not exactly difficult to do.
And of course there was no clear victor. We're arguing over matters of opinion.

We're arguing over matters of opinion. It doesn't matter. To Rebecca, it may as well be. That's good enough to say that Clem is holding a mental need over her head. Even if she doesn't actually have the leverage to actually do anything. I don't know about that. It seemed like that was just the beginning. I feel like Clem is going to take it further, as she has enough wiggle room to, and emotionally dead/hard people like her wouldn't have a problem with doing that. That look in her eyes just can't be shaken. It was unmistakably the beginning.

We don't know if Alvin's actually a mental need for Rebecca or if he's just someone who she wants to rely on to look out for her needs and interests. And we won't know this until he gets taken away. But as it stands, all Clem is threatening Rebecca with is a lot of trouble with her husband, something she might have coming her way anyway if the baby turns out not to be Alvin's.
If Clem takes it further, then fine, judge her for it. But she hasn't. Right now, she's only has one, extremely reasonable request. To me, that look in her eyes just say "don't mess with me," not "I'm going to mess with you."

How will we know if it isn't Alvin's once it's born, by the way? It's not like the baby will have red curly hair. Even so, "Don't mess with me" is usually the line of the villain.

Don't know. But Rebecca seems to think that it would be pretty obvious if it isn't Alvin's.
Lee's said the equivalent of "don't mess with me" plenty of times.

I blame Nick Breckon for writing her that way. And I blame Sean Vanaman for leaving Telltale.
Hopefully Episode 2 will be written better and Clementine will feel less robotic.
Also I blame the hype. People we all like 'Oh Lee's dead! Clem is alone! This is gonna be dark!' So TTG thought, 'Welp, better make it nice and grim, how people want it.'

But what could it really look like? I guess if Rebecca is biracial the baby could be white... You forgot the "to people who deserved it," part.

Most people think that Rebecca did deserve it. You might disagree and that's fine, but just realize that for most people out there, what Clem did was justified. I mean, Lee seriously threatened Vernon with death just because he made the offer to take Clementine off Lee's hand. How was that deserved?

It wasn't. And that was one of the worst things Lee did. Clem was justified, but only weakly.

And that was one of the worst things Lee did. Also Lee killed that Senator.
