During that scene, nothing else mattered. The feels were at an all time high. Carver could fuck off, the walkers could fuck off, Nick could fuck off.

True. I would have been more believable with like... Lilly (if she hadn't shot Carley/doug in the face), because she was shown to have some form of friendship with Clem, given that Clem would hide behind her in certain situations.

To be fair, we only ever saw about 2 weeks of highly stressful situations out of three months of them surviving together. Plus, I'd imagine that seeing anyone at all from the old group would be pretty much the greatest thing ever. Hell, I would have hugged LARRY if it had been him standing there instead of Kenny.

Larry was also concerned for Clem's safety though. He said to Lee that if anything happened to Lilly OR Clem he'd have to watch his ass.

I think that scene was more based on OUR perception of Kenny than Clem's, though we ARE Clem now, so there's that.
