Am I the only one who thought it was a better idea to play as Clem? I mean innovation is important, take risks, hell if Irrational did not take risks with Bioshock Infinite then it would have been just the same game but in the sky, no, they made it a action game not a horror game, they made a protagonist with a personality, and one of the greatest female characters, it paid off, if they had just made another Lee, then it would be more or less the same, with Clem it feels like a true sequel.

Only a little, Harpa. we barely knew anything about him at the start. Clem was the worst option telltale could choose for the protagonist, imo. Even Lilly would've been better choice, I would hate that decision though.

I can't be, I mean I wanted a new person, but I don't want TWD to become COD, just more of the same, being Clem is very different, come on, you are still going to play it, so I can see it's not the worst thing ever.

I don't think anyone else wants another Lee either, unless you mean another unique well written character. Then yeah. I would. Instead we get a shitty version of clementine.

That is what I meant, more likely the new character would be compared to Lee and would likely be similar to Lee, Clem can't be compared to Lee as they are so different.

I don't think that playing as any already-established character would have been a good choice. Ones like Lee, where you don't know much about them at first are the way to go.

Let's face it, there was no right choice when it came to protagonist for season 2, they went with this risky choice and I respect that.

People would be pissed at their decision no matter what character they chose for protagonist, it's just how the world works. Though personally, I think Clem was actually the best option, as you get to see some of Lee's actions affect certain dialogue.

Yep, I was not happy the first day I heard that, I started to like the idea a few days later, you get those throw back lines that are amazing, and it does not feel like a rehash of the first season.
