Hypothetically, what would happen if Merle and Negan met each other? I think Michael Rooker answered that question during one of the episodes of Talking Dead. Either from Season 7 or 8.
In the recent episode he was in, he said Merle wouldnβt bring Negan a sandwich. Heβd bring him Lucille. And then Merle would shove Lucille in a place where the sun donβt shine. XD

Hypothetically, what would happen if Merle and Negan met each other? I feel like S1 Merle is a shoe-in for a saviour, but at-time-of-death Merle wouldn't join him.

Wow. This episode man. Rick bleeding out while running from the herd, having those hallucinations/dreams and seeing those familiar faces. Shane, Hershel and Sasha. God, I missed them. Meanwhile, Maggie tried to go through with killing Negan, but then backed out after seeing him a crying mess, actually begging her to kill him and seeing that he's now worse than death. (Of course, with Negan, I have a hard time knowing if he's being truly honest or very manipulative). When everyone showed up the first time at the camp, I thought that was real. But it was another hallucination. That's like getting trolled right there. But then they did actually show up to help Rick and the music that played into that scene was just goddamn good. If someone said that Rick would go out with a bang, they don't even know how right they were via Rick shooting his Colt Python at that dynamite to be rid of that herd of walkers. And that's it. That's the end of Rick Grimes... ...On the show. But not his story. (Scott Gimple confirmed he will appear in AMC movies continuing his story.) I did not expect him to be saved by Jadis/Anne and whisked away in a chopper. I had thought that the explosion took him out. But apparently not. Back at the camp, everyone thinks he is dead, and when Daryl cries, the whole world cries. And then it time-skipped to little Judith saving some new folks with her daddy's gun, his hat and a mini-sword. Like father, like mother, like daughter. I'm really interested to see how things will go without the man, the sheriff, the senior ass-kicker, Rick Grimes.

LOOOOOOL AMC dicked us down once again. I actually liked the episode, I didn't think it was INCREDIBLE or anything but it was kinda good. But AMC's been hyping up the show as "Rick Grimes' Final Episode" and he doesn't die. Gimple said on Talking Dead that Rick would appear in spin-off films lol.
I mean, I guess I'll watch? But why the fuck is Rick gonna be away from everyone he knows for 6 goddamn years? (Yes, the ending scene is 6 years after Rick gets taken away in the helicopter. Also, I really appreciated the callback to the ending of the first episode with the Space Junk song.) That's just super lame.
Whatever. I guess I'll see how the next episode is. The season hasn't really had a bad episode yet so maybe it'll be good.

AMC validates itself as the shittiest channel on all of television. Let's hype up Rick's final episode, only to send him off for a number of movies instead. Andrew Lincoln doesn't deserve this.
But Space Junk playing at the end of the episode was 10/10.

I do agree that it's shitty to sell some spin-offs, but the interview on Talking Dead made it clear that Andy wants to explore more of the world (I assume the spin-off films will take place in the UK) so I mean, at least he's willing?
My dream would be he does all three spinoff films, then he returns full-time for the final season, with his goal to find his family once again, bringing a full circle from Season 1 to Season 10/11/12/13/whatever. If he dies in the third spin-off film, I will be pissed.

Movies are dumb, theyβre talking about doing a ton of walking dead universe stuff so I guarantee at some point they do their version of telltale which ok
Still, Iβm actually really excited for the show moving forward? Nice

Garbage. Season 9 was alright most of the time but they should have just killed Rick. What a fucking cocktease. Flying him away at the end with Trash Woman in the Deus Ex Helicopera. Wow. I actually thought they were going to do it. But no.
I'm done with this fucking show. For real this time. I've been jerked around too many times by it.

I mean, yeah it's a shitty tease for spinoffs no one seemed to want, but whatever, everyone thinks Rick had his tragic death, and now the show can actually go ahead with what looks like a really interesting storyline. It seems like Magna and her crew won't be totally sidelined like they were in the comics, I'm really excited to see how they handle Judith as a character, and I think the Whisperers were always the best part of the A New Beginning arc so... I'm... actually looking forward to the rest of this season?

Got VERY afraid that that was going to be the end of Neganβs arc since thatβs his final comic moment, but I guess the writers figured theyβd shoehorn that scene in before Lauren Cohan and Maggie leave the show.
Also god damn is Shane the tits.

The episode was cool.
About the Maggie scene though, I liked it better in the comics, but not cus of the scene itself, but because there was such a build up to it. In the show there isn't much of Negan's redemption arc yet, so I guess that's the reason why it didn't feel as powerful.
Anyway, good episode, seeing Daryl cry made me sad asfuck

Although I think they're removing him from the main show for good it seems and making a movie series with him and fucking Jadis out of all people, I'm actually looking forward to see how they pull off the movies. Andy Lincoln has made some of the worst episodes of the show worth watching through his performances alone and with the writing dramatically increasing this season, perhaps the movies will be pretty good. Rick's walk through memory lane was honestly really good, imo. The scenes with Shane and Hershel were fantastic. The scene with Sasha was..... ok. Would've preferred someone who shared more than 2 words with Rick.
