I feel like Nick is actually just Kenny when he was in his twenties. He's from the past, he's come to the future to warn old Ken! But anyway they are actually almost exactly the same, he just needs a Stache. The only problem is that Nick has blue eyes Here's another problem. What could Nick possibly warn Kenny about, if Nick IS Kenny from the past, that Kenny wouldn't already know? No, because the Stache actually wipes part of your memory, preventing from you causing a rip in the space time continuum when meeting your time traveling self! When Nick were to meet Kenny, he would slowly peel off his mustache, ending the zombie apocalypse once and for all, and sending everyone back to the 70s, where more people had groovy mustaches.

But Kenny would lose his stache in the process D: If Nick truly were Kenny from the past, he'd never have his future self remove his most prized possession. Don't worry, man.

Okay, so about those Nick files I found: those are sound files, but they can't be opened properly- they seem to be broken in some odd way, as they do open in VLC, they just don't play- and they're the only Nick death/zombie files I found(No number 1,2,3,4 or 5). I've just found...something. These could be from Episode 2, but I'm thinking they just might be from Episode 3. Again, they're sound files, they're of things that never happen in Episode 1, they can't play, no other numbers. Anyway, the point is, if- just if-these really are from Episode 3, not 2, then that means Nick's death might be in Episode 3, not 2. That would actually make sense, as I think it would be a good story idea to have Nick completely absent from Episode 2 for anyone who saved Pete, and then you find him as a lurker in Episode 3.

Here are some of the search results for 'death'. Looks like there's going to be a character named Will.

Nice finds, Heisenberg. If we only knew what do those files mean. Imp_human_Death?
God, I hope those Nick death files aren't true, maybe like Michael said, they were just cut off from the last scene. If Pete dies from the bite and Nick dies because I didn't go with him, I don't know what I'll do. Luke is cool, but not that much, those 2 are my favourites.

That is why I went with Nick, I figured he would die if you did not save him, shit.

I'm assuming the CHORE files have to do with when you don't decide to save either Pete or Nick, and the FoundByVictor one is maybe if you keep hiding from Winston in the beginning?

Imp = impact. I noticed an imp in the twau files and thought it meant Bufkin, but then I searched and when I saw it in enough context, yeah, it means impact. So there's one mystery solved.

Well... Lee had about five screams the whole game. I wouldn't be surprised if Rebecca only had two, especially considering how lazy TTG was with Winston.

Okay, I've got something embarrassing to admit... I was wrong. Those "zomb_NickM" files... they're not referring to the character Nick. They're referring to a person who voice acted as a zombie. Nick Mastroianni, listed under the game's credits for working in sound design(as well as being a cinematic artist). That's where the M comes from. But those Rebecca files, the extremely boring and uninteresting Rebecca files, those are definitely about the character, and she definitely doesn't scream or appear to be in any heavy pain in Episode 1.
Why can't telltale just hire voice actors who DON'T have the same names as their characters?! I thought I was onto something and now I'm pissed!

I will be so pissed if they kill Pete in episode 2. I'm gonna guess Troy and Johnny or whoever try and assault the cabin, Nick would stay behind in heroic sacrifice, Pete would stay behind because he doesn't want to slow everyone else down as they escape.
