Nope. I liked her a million times better than Carley.

Question: What makes Carley poorly written?

Question: What makes Carley poorly written? Being predictable as fuck, for one. Having so much lost potential for another. I thought she'd be breathing down my neck, judging my actions, which I would've liked. And just being generic as all hell for another. Note, the only real similarity for Molly is the generic part. Granted, she telegraphed what was going on a lot, but you still didn't entirely know what was going on until she decided it.

I thought it was nice to have SOMEONE on Lee's side without him having to break his back working for their approval. If Carley or Doug were also judging Lee as much as everyone else was, he wouldn't really have many friends, would he? She wasn't really as developed as the main characters though, I admit. Personally, I didn't like Molly simply because of how badass she was. Lee was a badass, sure, but we got to see him work up to it from being a klutz in Episode 1. Molly ice-picking the zombies right and left kind of took me out of it.

He's not a judgmental person. The only time he even said he disliked someone was with two people that yelled at him a lot. Anyways, back to the topic at hand, yeah, her development was as strong as a patient with Alzheimer's. Also, who's to say that in a city infested to the core with zombies that Molly wouldn't become a badass? It's not fair to judge her for that.

Perhaps it's not fair to judge Molly for that, but it was mainly her parkour skills that did it, on top of her badass pick-axing. I, personally, don't know anyone who does parkour. I live in the Middle of Nowhere, so there's no urban jungle for people to practice in. It just seemed so out of place to me whereas all the other characters to that point had been pretty much normal people just trying to survive. I suppose you have a point about Carley being judgmental. She DID make it seem like she'd be watching Lee when they had their little heart-to-heart in the pharmacy office, but that never went anywhere. Perhaps she decided to trust him after she saved her life. I can see that type of situation changing her opinion of him.

In my short time living in the suburbs, I've met 4-5 people who do parkour. It's not inconceivable that Lee would come across one in his adventures. Especially if it helps her survive, which we've seen time and time again, it does. People get into parkour even with just houses and libraries and shit. Yeah well, on top of that, she didn't deserve to be saved. She had one dude on her fucking foot. Stomp him in with your high heel, dumb bitch. Doug had at least three guys holding him by his torso.

Ok, I also don't like Vince. He seems like a Lee 2.0 reject.

I'm not a fan of Vince too, he isn't interesting or original. Shel is booooring and Bonnie annoys me a little. Wyatt and Russel are only 400 days protagonists I really like.
Well said about Carley, Harpa. I'm glad I'm not her only hater here.

I actually can't name a character in the walking dead I hate (I literally have no opinion whatsoever on Vernon or Winston)
