Just letting you know that I haven't given up just yet. I finally got those reviewers to STFU about updates because they were spamming me for weeks.

Bigby stared down at his worn out shoes as he wandered towards the group of kids who were gathered close by to the RV. The two teenagers were close together, standing up side by side and discussing certain matters, while Duck was drawing and Clementine was talking to Lee about something.
Bigby wasn't too fond of children and he wasn't going to interact with any of the young Mundy's any time soon, instead he approached the two teens, Ben and Travis "Hey" he greeted simply.
"Hey um, Bigby is it?" Ben asked nervously, he seemed on edge.
"Yep, that's me" he replied with a brief nod, glancing at Travis who didn't seem as confident as he had been in the woods, it was probably a result of being so close to death. "How you holding up, kid?" He asked him.
"I'm- I'm good, I suppose" Travis stuttered "I didn't get a chance to thank you back there, you saved my life after all, I'm really grateful for what you and your friend did"
"No problem, Travis."
"What I did was so dumb." Travis murmured glumly "I nearly died because of my own stupidity. My dad was in special forces, imagine what he would think. He'd be so disappointed"
"You did everything you could. You tried to help your teacher and sort help in strangers. You may have not liked it at first but you trusted us to do the right thing, that took courage." Bigby told him warmly.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Sure, you messed up, you nearly got yourself killed, but now you know that you should be more careful and then you can avoid being in that situation again"
A small smile formed on Travis' face "You're right, Bigby. I know what to do now, I understand. Thanks for the advice"
"Anytime" Bigby responded, placing one hand on his hip.
"Will our teacher, Mr Parker, be okay?" Ben questioned worryingly.
"I'm not gonna lie, kid, it's not looking too good" Bigby told him honestly.
"I just hope he makes it" Ben said, glancing over at his teacher who only had half a leg.
"Me too" Travis agreed. "Do you really think cutting off his leg was the best idea? I mean, if he does make it, how's he going to survive without it?"
"He'll just have to manage somehow. You know, before all this started I knew a guy who got his arm ripped off" Bigby told them, reminding himself of Gren and his time in the Homelands.
"Really? How'd that happen?" Ben asked curiously.
"It's a long story, but he managed just fine. In fact, after the pain was gone he was back to his old ways, picking fights with the wrong people"
Travis snorted a small laugh while Ben just grimaced and shook his head. "He sounds like my dad" Travis commented "He was a tough guy"
"I'm sure he was" Bigby responded "Anyway, I better chat to some other folks and get to know the group a bit better. See you two around"
"Bye" Ben mumbled as Bigby walked away.

Man... My many fanfiction followers are gonna be pissed for neglecting this fic.
I want to write it but something is just holding me back. It's like my brain is saying: 'Ok, I've planned it out all the way to episode 5, lets do this shit"
*other part of brain* "Don't write that shit, you got better things to do, like 'It never stops' and fucking 'Mans Best Friend' and other ideas that come to you when you're bored and being worthless"
"But, I like this fic, I want to write it"
"Do it when you feel like you could give a fuck"
That's basically it.

I've been talking to myself in the field (where I walk my dog) and going through the entire story. Everyone I walk past probably thinks I'm insane.
Writing it down is just a fucking chore sometimes and I hate it. But I'm gonna continue, I got a worthless paragraph right here in my notes that I can dig up.
