Birds were flying overhead, too high up to identify but their shadows flickered over Isa and Mirai regardless.

"...Are those the Shadows? They can apparently turn into birds." Mirai asked.

Isa lifted her head up, watching as they flew further north. She looked over to the direction they had flown in from.
Even from here, she could see the rain gushing down in the distant southeast.
"...I think those were just regular birds." Isa said.
