Heroes VS Villains RP: Season Zero

He couldn't see her.

Isa didn't turn her head, instead following after Suzanne and checking on Hannah with clairvoyance. She had walked into the kitchen, looking around it with a confused expression.

"...The hell? No one's here..." Hannah noted, opening up a drawer and pulling a knife out. Keeping on her guard.

Isa sent that image to Mirai as she sped up, as Suzanne stopped at a door identical to every other door they walked past so far and tapped on it a few times.

"No, she's in the basement." Suzanne said. "Beneath us, if a little over that way."

From the other side, Lydia opened the door up. "O-Oh, they're here..."

"Yep, they're here." Suzanne acknowledged, walking past her.

It looked like a standard enough room, a couple of sitting chairs around a table, a few easels and paint supplies lying around. There was another door at the far back, next to a large safe on wheels that looked big enough to completely cover the door if it was in the right place. Suzanne walked right towards the door and opened it up, gesturing for Isa and Mirai to follow her.

Lydia closed the door once all of them were in the sitting room.

Seeing the other two inside, Suzanne went through the back door. Isa naturally followed her.

The interior of this second room was more like a walk-in closet. Strange, futuristic screens, buttons and displays lined a cabinet to the side with a container filled with a glowing something connected to it. There were tubes connected to this thing that were going all the way through the floor.

"...What is this?" Isa asked, her voice dropping.

"That's the elements." Suzanne said, pressing a few buttons as she sat herself down on a box that looked like it was full of old stuffed animals, typing away at the machine. "Well, let's see what we've got here."

She was staring right at Suzanne with the machine of hers. She looked somewhat confused.

"Have you always had technology like this?" Isa asked.

Suzanne shrugged. "As far as I can remember. We don't have much of it, but we've had this thing since before I was born, I think."

"...That's weird, right?" Isa asked Mirai, not even bothering to whisper it, as her confusion was very apparent.

"...I guess?" Isa asked.

"Why's this tripping you up anyway? Didn't you see the coffin thing we had Hannah in?" Suzanne asked.

"I... I don't know." Isa admitted.

Suzanne shrugged, looking over the screen as a set of percentages appeared on it- it looked like a analysis of the elements that had been taken from Hannah. "Whatever. Anyway, looks like she had a lot of liquid powers. Well, water and chemicals and stuff like that. If we can separate these, you guys could have one and we could take the other? I can think of a lot of uses for either of them." Suzanne suggested.

"Oh, sure. I'll give it to you guys when you leave. That sound good?" Suzanne asked.
