"...I see." Suzanne commented, lowering her head. Her hair went down to cover both of her eyes in shadow. "I'm glad I made the right choice."
"Suzy..." Lydia murmured, looking sad.
Suzanne cracked a grin. "Great, so she's going to head back here and fulfil her promise, right?"

"She collected the clairvoyance element from the Kraven's, she might be watching this conversation unfold as we speak." Arcadia said.

"Hm...
Yo, Isa, you watching?" Suzanne asked.
...There was no response.
"Um, if she was, I don't think she'd just admit it?" Lydia pointed out.
"You're right. But, if she is watching, she already knows about that over there." Suzanne said, gesturing towards where Hannah was.
Dorian nodded, "The question is: how does she feel about it?"

"What do we do about this maiden once this is finished? Mariam and those residents from the Life Commune might pay us a visit once they find out what happened to her." Cello asked.

"We know for a fact they can't teleport and they're busy getting caught up in that mess happening in the southeast. If they do find out, we'll have tons of time to prepare." Suzanne reasoned.

“But if those two lost their faith in you, will you fight them?” Arcadia asked.

"What? No. They'd kick my ass, easy." Suzanne answered.
"H-hey, you shouldn't be doubting yourself like that..." Lydia spoke up.
Suzanne shook her head. "It's not doubting myself, it's common sense. If I pull a weapon out, she'll either teleport it away or turn it into a useless toy. Then Mirai will do his time slowing thing, or Isa will set the room on fire. If I do end up getting lucky and getting a hit off, they'll just heal. They've got too many tools at their disposal for me to even consider fighting them."

"What will you do then?" Arcadia asked.

Suzanne shrugged. "...Running away wouldn't be a option. Teleporation and clairvoyance means they can find me wherever I go...
I guess the best option is do the same thing we did with Hannah. Have so many guys fight them at once that the sheer numbers overwhelm them."

"You want us to pounce on them before they have the chance to attack?" Cello suggested.

Suzanne paused, about to open her mouth, but then she stopped.
She placed a hand on her other hand, covering her ring as she shifted. "...No." She said. "This is all assuming they're going to turn against us like it's an inevitability.
That girl wants all the elements, she accepted our deal last time. There's a possibility we won't have to fight her. Besides, I like them. If I had the option, I'd rather avoid a fight."
Lydia blinked, confused. Suzanne glared at her for a moment and it seemed like she got the message. Whatever it was.

"It's probably worth mentioning, but even an all-out assault would be in vain. They're allied with Carvus, his soldiers aren't too far away whenever they are in peril, there is a reason no one attempted to take out his kingdom just yet. Perhaps we should stick to dialogue and see where things go from there." Arcadia added.

"...Um, I don't... nevermind." Lydia frowned, opting to open Hannah's book up and start reading through it.
"What Arcadia said." Suzanne agreed, downing her drink in one gulp.
"That girl's really out there making as many allies as she can, it seems." Dorian commented.
"Yeah, exact opposite of Debbie's approach. Look how making enemies out of everyone went for her." Suzanne shrugged.

"Deborah was my...?" Suzanne asked, glaring right at him. She tilted her head. "What? if you're going to ask it, at least ask the entire question.
Was she my best friend? My tutor? My daughter? What was she to me, exactly, Cello?"
