Ambrosius was the first one to speak up.
"Rajendra, I tried to call you earlier. Chuckles checked the prison Deborah and Prince Balanque were trapped in, they weren't there and when I tried to call you and Kei, I got no response, I was worried when I heard that a carriage crashed into your castle, is everything alright?" Ambrosius asked.
And then another voice pipped up but it wasn't Lazarus.
"This is Manfred speaking. The king is in the middle of a funeral right now." Manfred said.

"That's quite fine.
To update on the situation, Deborah was in the same carriage as mister Kei and miss Jade, when the carriage crashed, she tried to attack me and that other maiden and her guardian we've been hearing so much about intervened.
We won't have to worry about Deborah anymore, she's dead." Rajendra explained. "According to said maiden, Jade and Kei betrayed us. I can't imagine why."

"...She is dead? Huh, look at that. At the very least, I can now rest easy knowing that the witch who burned down my kingdom while I was away has been finally slayed, with her out of the picture, the Balanque Kingdom will fall apart next if Wolfe's goons are good at their job...but learning that the Liern's betrayed us is puzzling to me." Ambrosius muttered.
"It makes a lot of sense that those two were behind their escape, that prison was built with materials from the crystal element, only they had the power to release them since Deborah din't have the elements necessary to break their cell." Manfred commented.

"It's also strange to me, because they were unconscious when the carriage crashed... that, and Kei's always been the sentimental type, he doesn't strike me as the kind of man even capable of betrayal.
But, regardless. That's not actually the reason I called you two, the reason is: I am currently having tea with the maiden and that guardian of hers... As well as the Liern's minister of trade, for some reason." Rajendra said.
"Why are you here, anyway?" Durga asked.
"Those two warned me about Deborah, so I tried to bring it to the Liern's attention, only to get blocked by some guards that were given false information by Jade and then Clover when we got past them." Sage explained.
"We have just been dragging this guy along with us, haven't we?" Isa asked Mirai.

Mirai shrugged.
"At least he got to be a part of the ride." Mirai shrugged.
"Ah, those two again. Tell them that the Kraven's are thankful they got rid of another headache, we won't mind if they will assist us when we will raid what's left of Colorado's kingdom by sunset." Manfred said.
"It's good to know that the three of you are getting along but other than that, is there anything else you need to tell us?" Ambrosius asked.

"My family puts more emphasis on actions rather than words. And if I were too judge them by their actions so far: the first thing they did was help my brother when he was fighting against the invading army from the Schmidt Kingdom, then they helped us overthrow Colorado's army and killed Damballa, the maiden did also attempt to heal Aera so at the very least, they appear to be reliable, trustworthy and slightly blindly optimistic. Things would of ended a lot more badly for us had they took off before the battle started." Manfred commented.
"I already expressed my opinion on the matter about treating those two as allies instead of engaging them in combat, with them taking out major threats one by one and killing Deborah is another plus, at the moment, I believe it would be a unfortunate decision to lose the chance of having two powerful allies on our side who are also currently allied with a very strong king. Chuckles can also vouch for them as they were willing to share half of the sand element so I can defend the new kingdom I'm building on a abandoned island." Ambrosius said.

"Impressive." He smiled, "Much appreciated, both of you. That will be all I need."

"I believe I will go as well, I'm glad to know you're okay, Rajendra, once you're finished, we should discuss about what to do with-" Ambrosius said.
"Wait, don't hang up just yet. We want to ask you a few questions." Mirai spoke.
"About what, young one?" Ambrosius asked.

"...Lazarus told you about that, din't he? Cause from what I heard, Samuel isn't a very talkative fellow these days ever since he got those demon powers." Ambrosius asked, not seeming to deny that fact.

"...Rajendra, I already told you the story when I visited you a few days ago, do you mind if I come over there so I can tell them my side of the story and explain to those two that the situation isn't as black and white as they might think and I'm not the villain of this tale but I can wait till you are finished with them." Ambrosius proposed.
