I don't find Episode 2 boring at all, personally.
Episode 3 is pretty great. It has a few minor things that are weird (such as me telling everyone except Kenny that I was a convicted murderer but he acted like I told him) and Chuck's odd introduction. But it barely impacts my view of the episode itself. Tragedy, great character moments and great everything. 9/10
Episode 4 is good. Took me 2 hours and 20 minutes, and that was doing everything as fast as possible (I did talk to all the characters tho) it's boring, yeah, but, hey, I still like it. Molly's a little over the top compared to everything else we've seen but hey, it's whatever. The most annoying part was Vernon. I was nice with him when I first met him but just because I lied to him about Clem being my daughter, he just acted like I threatened him earlier. It's just stupid. I think it's intentional too, because the choice says "Did you threaten or lie to Vernon?" he's getting all butthurt because I said Clem was my daughter? I was nice all the other times. Whatever. Ended up with Ben and Kenny. Was very tempted to tell Kenny to fuck himself like I usually do, but I wanna see the interactions between the two of them alone with Lee. Also, they don't know I was bitten. 7/10
Gonna play Episode 5 tomorrow. Or Monday. 400 Days, I'll probably play right after and I'm gonna save Season 2 for later. Not trying to plow through all the episodes.

Finished Episode Two. Fantastic opening. Fantastic everything. Boring as heck everything in between. Still probably gets a 9/10 from me though because everything that isn't a hub is really, really great, and the choices are all fantastic and super tense. Every time I replay this episode I go back and forth on the final choice, as well as who to give the food to. I gave food to Clem, Duck, Mark, and Larry this time around, and I did steal from the car. Anyway, for me personally I think Duck's death is almost a bit more tear-inducing than Lee's, so I'm really looking forward to next episode! /s (seriously though, just working off of memory, I do kinda think Episode 3 is the best one) Three Is the episode that made the game go from great amazing. I mean hell, it's the reason I started to read posts on the official forum. Didn't sign up until episode 5 but it still counts. And the disbelief I remember having over the Carley scene and my loathing of Lilly to this day. What an episode!

I want to get the remaster at some point. I also need to play season 3, I never got passed episode 1 because the decisions Telltale made were just so depressing.

I can't imagine playing the remaster with the new graphics, the older S1 style had a certain charm to it. For me anyways.
But I'd gladly wipe my own memory to experience 103 for the first time again.

Replayed Season 2 episodes 1 & 2
Episode 1 is still as dull and idiotic as I remember. And going through it again... I just can't bring myself to like any scene except for the scene where you sit with Luke at a dinner table and talk about Lee, and then the last 15 minutes. That's the saving grace of the episode. The rest is just... stupid and dull. 5/10
Episode 2 is pretty good, but I was pissed because my choices fucked up (SURPRISE, SURPRISE!) I ended Episode 1 going with Pete but when I started Episode 2, I ended up with Nick. I went back to the menu to check my choices and like most of them were not my choices. My Season 1 choices were still fine, so I dunno... it just didn't like my Episode 1 choices I guess. Still a good episode, with some dumb moments. 7/10
And it just goes downhill from here..

Replayed Season 2 Episode 3.
God, what an awful episode. Honestly, I hate it more than I used to. It's just so dull and boring and Carver is turned into such a shit cliche villain. Kenny's also super annoying. Only scene I actually enjoyed on this replay was when Kenny killed Carver. Finally, that walking cliche was dead. The ending was.... cool, I guess?
3/10
