Either in the last two episode of this season or Season 3, are there any Batman characters or villains you'd like to see in this series? Telltale's version of Deadshot is being introduced in the spinoff comic Batman: Sins of the Father, so I doubt we'll see him in the main series(although, I have to say I'm very excited for that miniseries). Personally, I'd really like to see what they could do with Poison Ivy. I'd prefer if they went the anti-hero route with her, or maybe even just be a straight up good guy, that'd be an interesting subversion. They'd also have to really change her relationships with Selina and Harley, so again, that'd be interesting. Ra's al Ghul would make an excellent main villain for a third season. There's lots of ways they could do a new take on him. Plus, for all you TPAU frequent posters, a Season 3 with Ra's al Ghul as the main villain probably means a season three with Talia al Ghul as a love interest. So, I'll just leave this here: Anyway, Ra's al Ghul is brilliant and uncompromising. He'd be a welcome change from more unstable villains like Harley and Lady Arkham, and I can easily see Telltale putting a unique spin on him to make him fit their universe. I'm a big Bat-family fan, so any version of Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, I'm all for that. I think Tiffany Fox is going to officially become Batgirl by the end of this season, but we know that Barbara Gordon exists in this universe, and I'd really love to see her as Oracle, maybe. Also, please just give me some version of Nightwing. And finally, please give me Batwoman. She's an amazing character, and it'd be super easy to introduce the Kane Family in Season 3, and then introduce Kate Kane as Batwoman. Please do this Telltale. So yeah, Poison Ivy, Ra's al Ghul, Oracle, Nightwing, and Batwoman. Those are probably the characters I'd most like to see in a possible third season, or, they could easily introduce Barbara in some way before the end of Season Two.

Dick Grayson is the first Batman character I ever liked. Any version of him would be more than welcome.

If they can implement a well-written Barbara Gordon, then sure. Not liking how she's characterized in the new Burnside comics, but I loved her in the Animated Series.
The Animated Series is my favorite Batman canon, so I'd like to see anybody that has a backstory from that canon. Though I think Telltale is pulling character's backstories from the larger world of Batman comics, not the Animated Series.

Well, the first run by Cameron Stewart and Babs Tarr, at least. I've got issues with Hope Larson's current Burnside series, but I think it's basically okay and pretty enjoyable. Never actually seen Batman The Animated Series, and I've kind of avoided it ever since Bruce Timm was involved in that godawful Killing Joke movie and people dug up some really creepy shit in his Batman Beyond comics involving Barbara and Bruce. I don't know, I've heard the Animated Series is great, so maybe Bruce Timm won't be enough to poison it for me forever, but at the moment... eeeehhhh

I heard it was horrible, avoided it completely First half wasn't even about Joker, but about her, and it was terrible. iirc it ended with her having sex with batman. The joker parts were ok though

I'd argue that what he did with Batgirl in the Killing Joke might be one of the only bad things he's done as an animator, and that was just because Batman/Batgirl makes no fucking sense. It's alluded to in TAS and in Batman Beyond, but I've mentally shut that out. Him and Paul Dini had great stories to tell with an array of Batman characters in the Animated Series and even created a few characters like Harley Quinn. I also loved Batman Beyond being a continuation of the Animated Series, as it made too much sense for me that Bruce Wayne ends up as a old, depressed asshole who never had any kids. I actually think Joker's death in a flashback in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker was one of the greatest written moments I've ever seen as a Batman fan: If you had any second thoughts, I'd highly recommend just watching a few episodes of the Animated Series. Batwoman was in the first half of the Killing Joke movie? I heard it was horrible, avoided it completely First half wasn't even about Joker, but about her, and it was terrible. iirc it ended with her having sex with batman. The joker parts were ok though That was Batgirl, not Batwoman. I don't know what Bruce Timm's sick obsession is between Batman/Batgirl, but I'll agree with you. That part was absolutely disgusting and something that did not at all need to be in the film.

Batwoman was in the first half of the Killing Joke movie? I heard it was horrible, avoided it completely First half wasn't even about Joker, but about her, and it was terrible. iirc it ended with her having sex with batman. The joker parts were ok though Oh, that's Batgirl, not Batwoman. Yeah, the first half of Killing Joke was pretty awful, and probably one of the worst stories involving Batgirl ever. Batgirl is also in the Animated Series, like Zerius said. I don't know much about TAS Batgirl, but the current comics involving her, known as the Burnside comics thanks to a change in setting, are pretty great imo. There's also the New 52 series by Gail Simone that quite a lot of people like This is Batwoman: She's Bruce's cousin Kate Kane. She was in the army until she was outed as gay and kicked out(this storyline happening back when "Don't ask, don't tell" was still official policy in the military). She returned to Gotham, and was inspired by Batman to use her training to become a vigilante. She quickly figures out that Batman is her cousin Bruce, and the current storyline in the comics is that Bruce put her in charge of a team of newer members of the bat-family and reformed villains called the Gotham Knights(this is happening in the current Detective Comics run by James Tynion IV and it's pretty great). She also has a solo series focusing on her past with a former lover named Safiyah and how it connects to her current pursuit of an organization called the Many Arms of Death(this one is written by Marguerite Bennett, and it's also pretty great) Batwoman is a pretty great character bc she's one of the best foils to Bruce, as well as one of his only equals. It'd be pretty easy for Telltale to introduce her since she has one of the simplest and most flexible backstories, and tbh i think it'd be pretty great to play Bruce the way we've been able to in the Telltale series, but against a strong foil character like Kate. She's also something of a fanfavorite ever since her introduction in the early 2000s, so I bet there's a goodish chance she might be introduced in Season 3.

Yeah, I've seen that joker death scene before, it's pretty great. I know I should just go ahead and watch TAS at some point, I've heard so much good stuff about it, but.... ugh, yeah, i was put off by Killing Joke, but I will eventually watch it. It's such an influential part of the canon that I basically have to at some point. Part of it is simply that it's not easily available to watch, too. If it was on Netflix or something, I'm sure I would've already seen the whole thing.

She's like, a college professor in the current comics but she's still Batgirl
