I'm settled. I'm getting season 1 and 2 soon as possible. Heed everyone's advice and don't bother with season 1, it doesn't hold a candle to 2. I'm sure your all right. But I'm a completionist. It's a fault of mine. I even watched that Stranger Things s2 episode everyone told me to skip. They were bloody right but I did it anyway.

I mean... Season 1 has qualities to admire, but very few... Season 2 is fantastic.

Yeah Season 1’s not baaad per-se, it’s just totally skippable. Like, I guess it’s a mostly inoffensive way to spend ~8 hours, but for $25 I couldn’t recommend it.

Season 1 was okay to me.
Still, just two or three more days. The hype is real.

Gonna put this out there: The Agency killed Riddler to protect their secrets. There's no way Waller didn't know about SANCTUS, and she had Riddler killed to keep him from spilling the beans to Batman.
Also, just really curious:
Does anyone know what the long-term effects of Iman losing her hearing were? It didn't come up much in Episodes 2 or 3 because she wasn't really in those ones, but she played a pretty big role in Episode 4 so does that get mentioned much or change anything? I know in my playthrough I invited her to join the Bat-Family if she decided to quit working for Waller, but like does she maybe not like Bruce/Batman as much if you let her lose her hearing?

She has hearing aids and the only real difference in Episode 4 is that the Batmobile detects her hearing aids and disables it as apart of the Batmobile blocking any kind of surveillance. That's it, really. And she treats you the same if you let her lose her hearing or not.

Hm, okay, kind of disappointing, but forgivable given how many other choices have had huge consequences and branches for the story, and the fact that it was super tense in the moment when it happened. Plus, there's still the hope it might amount to something in episode 5. I mean, probably not, but can't completely close the door on it yet.

Didn't actually read the review since IGN has spoiled me in reviews before, but they gave the last episode a 7.9 and said they don't go far enough with vigilante Joker but it ends well enough.
EDIT: Destructoid gave it a 7

This season has been consistently getting only above average reviews, which baffles me.
Also what the heck is up with IGN giving stuff like 7.9, 8.2, 7.6?? Like, just expand your scale, there are more numbers to score games on than 7 and 8. IGN reviews are more or less pointless.

"First and foremost, it needs to be noted that the events of previous episodes have a huge impact on Episode Five. The motivations of John Doe going in causes Same Stitch to be one of two distinct episodes, each with their own scenes, script and characters. Telltale have referred to this as their "branchiest episode ever" and while I cannot guarantee you'll find a plethora of diverse endings, the general layout of events make this download a sort of "two-in-one", offering up over three hours of drama." from the Dtoid review.
They also say both versions of the episode are good.

Gamespot gave it a 9/10, and the only "con" listed in their verdict was a lack of challenging puzzles.
Telltale should seriously just rebrand as an Interactive Stories/TV/Whatever studio. I've said it before and I'll say it again, these aren't really games. There are no mechanics to engage in that do not have direct relevance to the story, so you can't exactly call it a game, can you? If they stopped branding them as games, I think it'd open them up to doing way more interesting and meaningful things with how they tell these stories, and people would stop expecting puzzles or exploration or satisfying combat mechanics from them.

The worst example was the season 6 finale of TWD. The cliffhanger bullshit one. The writer ranted as we all did before giving it a 7. What?
