shit, I totally forgot to play it today. I even replayed Episode 3 yesterday so Bruce took the blame at the end instead of Catwoman(I did copy my original save though so I've got both versions, I'll play both tomorrow probably).
Glad to hear people liked it though, looks like it beat the penultimate curse.

Wow, this was an amazing episode. Seriously, so many great emotional moments. Thoughts:That opening fight against The Pact was fantastic. Telltale's choreography has gotten way better since Season 1, and it made the fight against Bane and Freeze feel really tense with lots of emotional highs and lows. I outright shouted "YES!" when John threw the batarang at Bane. Also, Telltale's new QTE system of "directing" the fights works really well, I'd love to see more of that in their other series.
I loved that Avesta finally returns in this episode, and that she knows Bruce's identity. I ship Bruce and Avesta far more than Bruce and Selina, and I tried to encourage her to quit the Agency and join the Bat-Family.
John's line of "when you walked in here, I honestly thought you came to check on me" broke my heart... john really does care about Bruce so much, and he's feeling so hurt and betrayed now...
They finally brought Alfred to the front of the story, and while he's still the weak spot of the story, him mistaking Bruce for Thomas was a pretty hefty emotional gut punch. It was great to see a teaser for Tiffany's Batgirl suit, and the gun moment I thought was pretty good.
I'm... not sure if I actually believe John, he clearly really does have problems... but even in seeing how later in the episode he dealt with Harley and the agents... I don't think he's violent, or at least, not doomed to be violent... I said I believed him, and while I'm not certain, I think I do.
That final confrontation on the bridge was amazing. Sided with John the whole way through, and while I was concerned for a moment here and there, I'm super excited to see John as an anti-hero vigilante in the final episode. Though, I do have a reservation about the Vigilante design teased in the choice screen... I'm not a huge fan.
Also, anyone know how many different versions of John there are? Just to, or?
Either way, can't wait for the finale, and I really hope this gets renewed for a third season. Unless Episode 5 fails completely, which I don't think it will, The Enemy Within had basically cemented it's place for me as a Top Tier Telltale Series, along with TWD S1, 400 Days, TWAU, and Tales from the Borderlands. Relationships:-Tiffany was reflective. The talk about guns and Batman's code was really enjoyable. -Alfred was disheartened. Somehow Bruce talking about his hate of guns made him disheartened? Uh, okay. That's weird. -Waller was livid. Eh, fuck her. -Avesta was grateful(?). Don't remember if that was the phrasing, but yeah, I let Avesta in completely. -John is a Vigilante. Not a huge fan of the design, but I'm glad he's going down the anti-hero route rather than a villain. Choices:-Lowered the temperature for Freeze. I'm sympathetic to him. I think the reveal for The Pact's motives actually work really well to make them all sympathetic. -Trusted John to find Harley. I'm with him. All the way. -Belived John. Wasn't sure at first.... I think I am now. -Sided with John. He's my friend... I'm with him all the way.

@zyphon
I believe the Vigilante design is because Joker wanted his hair to shaped like a bat. And he only has two versions, Vigilante or Villain.

Kindof a shame he's only got two versions, but it's understandable. Is it possible to find a picture of Villain Joker?

Here's a side-by-side picture of the two versions of John you can end up with depending on your choices. Villain and Vigilante. And if you start off after ratting out Catwoman, John gets everyone to take a group photo together. I find this to be a very nice picture.

Oh wow, you play as Batman at the end if you don't trust John, and you actually get a different set of choices. The amount of consequence based on your choices in The Enemy Within is super impressive.

God I really hope they don't keep the Vigilante design for Season 3(if there is a Season 3 and John is in Season 3 and he doesn't become a villain no matter what in Episode 5)

Holy shit that's cool, slowly regaining hope for TWAU S2. Maybe the restructuring was for the best? Hey you never know, they took a second season of a game I never played and now I really kind of want to play. I want Telltale to impress me and they really have.

The amount of choices that matter is actually impressive for telltale. I played the whole episode as Bruce, but apparently you can be batman at two points.
also I kinda like the vigilante design, but villain does look cooler.

These videos of how the fight scene choreography gets played out with stunt actors for reference for the animators that Telltale have been putting out are pretty cool.

Wow, they've actually been using references with real stunt actors?
I'm really impressed.

Huh, just found out that: You can completely avoid the choice of telling John you've been using him or not and the fight between John and Bruce if you believe him from the start. That's actually really impressive, I thought they'd railroad you into that fight no matter what.
