Oh boy. I finished House Divided and I can always see this season hasn't improved like wine. All That Remains is a 7 or 8. Still hate Omid and Christa being wasted, the dog bit was fun but forced. I still cannot comprehend the logic in I cannot tell it's a dog bite, better put you in the shed where you'll get infected anyway. Christ. Also killing off Pete may not have been a great call despite the choice being fairly good. Also I dont think much of In the Water. Other then that the rest is good. House Divided is still the highwater mark, only issues are maybe Rebecca doing a 180 personality wise but that's minor. The save system sucks compared to season 1 but that's universal. I dont like the cope out got lucky Kenny response. And that's it. I already know the last three are going to disappoint. How bad is season 3 again?

Best character of Season 2.

Best character of Seazson 2. He kinda was looking back. I'm sure they had to have a quota of character death somewhere but it probably wasnt a great idea to throw him to the wind. That early anyway.

Oh god. Yeah this was a lot worse then I recall. Episode 3 isnt bad but it horribly wastes 400 days cast and while I don't hate the direction Carver went in, the fact he dies is bloody awful. It would have been so easy to not kill him and replace the lame Russians with him. But no. Maybe Michael Madsen could only do two episodes. I dont know. Alvin gets a good death but Carlos still fails to register. It's too quick. I didnt chop off Saritas hand this time and frankly episode 4 plays out far better if you dont. That episode still has problems by the boatload though. Jane is just a shitty character, little to like and with a philosophy that is more Crawford and Carver. The infamous bits still suck. Nick getting killed off camera still fucking sucks and his annoyingly drawn out Walker death borders on needlessly cruel. Sarah gets fucked seven ways till Sunday. Luke makes a spectacularly dumb move. Everyone keeps freaking out about Kenny despite his choices for the most part being correct. The so so so so obvious Luke v Kenny subplot is still here and I cannot help but feel Jane was suppose to fuck off. The ending can bite my dick. Christ nobody should have survived that ambush from Russian mafia jackasses. Dont get me started on them. Episode 5... has decent parts. All the alone with a character scenes are good. The campfire scene is good. I still like the flashback scene despite chronologically being a bit confused. The Kenny endings are still fantastic at making me feel awful. And that's about it. Luke dying is garbage, just go around the goddamn lake for Christ's sake. I didnt do it but the choice that makes Bonnie hate you is a rather extreme reaction. Jane is beyond insufferable. It's a self fulfilling prophecy if I've seen it. Calling her another Lilly is apt. Well overall as a season it has a good amount of great moments but its miles behind season 1. The way the save system worked here never stopped annoying me in how stingy it was. It's a telltale game, not bloody Dark Souls. Save the game after every scene I mean come on. As for season 3... well I picked the stay Wellington ending entirely because Kenny won't get car wrecked into oblivion. Once again you people warned me it's bad. Since for the most part I'm not impressed with season 2, that makes me worried beyond belief. Well I guess I'll post back the moment I get anywhere with season 3. Any tips? Or more accurately parting words?

Jane was like lily minus charm, which is saying something. Lily had no charm.

Well I finished season 3. My overall thoughts are eeeeeeeeh. I remember a lot of moments in season 2, good and bad. Here? Well I'll remember all the shitty episode one flashbacks. I'll remember the good characters wasted. I didnt hate Gabe as much as some but I wasnt a fan. I could see episode 5 wasnt fully finished seeing how some people just vanish. I'm shocked you guys never mentioned the soundtrack because they refuse damn near every track from season 1. There were barely any new songs. The no rewind system angered the hell out of me. Clementine didnt need to be in this story. Its messy. And the good moments are nowhere near as good as season 2s best moments. I felt something a few times but it never rose to teary eyed. I dont know what I would give it, 5 maybe? There was no episode I can point to and say that's great like season 2. Oh well. Time for season 4 and you guys have me really excited.

Yeah, season 3 is dead to me. I barely consider it canon. But you're gonna love season 4, dude! I know it.

Well finished Episode 1 of season 4. Damn where were these writers? I instantly took a liking during the comic panel backstory. Clementine is back to normal, jerkass Clem is dead. All the characters are good, Louie is just the best. I was laughing so hard at my darlin Clementine. AJ is also good. I got little to complain about beyond being unsure if the game thinks Clem ate Mark's leg. Ah whatever, great stuff all around. Hubs, collectables, difficult choices. I'm happy. I already know it gets even better so I'm pleased.

Okay finished episode 2, even better! Man the cinematography and editing of this season is far better then season 3. The cross cutting at the start of the episode to Marlon's death was striking, in the same way the basement scene was when it all turned red from blood getting on the flashlight. I love the dynamic with AJ, its just so different then Clem and Lee. It invokes memories while being unique and not a rip off. I like all the new characters, I'm not rooting for anyone to die outside of one. Which speaking of, I'm happy the game let's me go forward and tell Lilly fuck you, you goddamn bitch, spawn of a racist asshole. So yeah for me it feels in character for Lilly to be awful to Clem, Lee was never her friend. Side note seeing how the episode was called Suffer the Children, it reminded me of that Smith's song. Guess Lilly is my Myra Hindley. Anyway, I'm always a sucker for The Last Stand scenarios so planning for the fight was a blast for me. And Louie is still the best, tuning a piano on the eve of battle never felt more right. Speaking of, that last scene is so much fun, most fun battle since, I don't know, The Ice Dragon? I just loved this episode, I got little to complain about really. Even the comic tie in wasn't obnoxious, it was more Glenn then Jesus. Side note I love how grievously injured Abel can get, puts Rodrik the Unbreakable to shame good god man. I'll play episode 3 later tonight, I'm so excited, but goddamn it why did Telltale have to get its shit together right at the end of its life.

Unlike Gabe, a kid that made me want to sterilize the human race. It felt good.
