Again, just curious to see where people fall. For now I'm a no, but I may end up watching a stream or something, I don't know. Probably not.

Too curious to see where this trainwreck goes to not watch a stream or something but fuck if I'm buying anything. ANF lost me completely.
If for some reason in the future I say I'm buying anything Walking Dead related from Telltale (Brain death most likely) remind me of this and snap me out of it.

Actually, you know what, fuck it. I'm in. I don't know why the fuck Telltale roamed away from Clementine to begin with. She wasn't the biggest problem with season two and she wasn't the biggest problem with New Frontier. She barely fuckin' spoke until like half an hour into the finale. I think the first time she said anything was before the ludicrous helicopter blade stunt.
She's the franchise. End of story. If I wanted to partake in a fuckin' anthology I'd watch Fargo. If it absolutely HAS to go on, it should go on with Clementine. And honestly, it's not like they can fuck up her character much more. I liked Javi, but this shit felt so tonally awkward. If we were watching The Walking Dead in the first two seasons, suddenly this one felt like Fear the Walking Dead. If nothing else, shifting the focus back towards Clem might bring the old feeling back. Not the quality... that's long gone. But just the feeling of comfort... Of thinking, OK, this feels familiar and right.
Gimme the Clem focus back and never try experimenting a-fucking-gain.

Or they could do what they said they were going to do and balance the screentime out with Javi and Clem. I want Javier to be back for Season 4.

All I'm saying is you don't demote your franchise cornerstone to a utility role. Clementine's AJ story was NOTHING. It meant nothing and had nothing to do with the season. She served no purpose. She was basically just following Javi around like a dog. It's cool if there's a different playable character and Telltale wants to build that character's story, but everything leading up to this has been centered on Clementine. It's an awkward, almost impossible shift. Javi should have been a part of Clementine's story, not vice versa. And if Clementine handicapped the story? Well, Walking Dead should have been retired as a Telltale game after season two then. There is no Walking Dead with Clementine.

I'm not against the idea of Javi being in Season 4 BUT, only as a side character, i want Clem to be the only playable protagonist and main character again, please telltale make it happend!

Seeing the backlash Javier caused it's pretty safe to say that we'll never see him again. The DLC will obviously be full-on Clementine but if Season 4 happens and it goes back to being Stealth is a vital part of Metal Gear Online for all players.entine 50/50 then I won't even bother looking at it because I know they're going to fuck it up.

I hope that Clem is playable in whatever we get next, be it DLC or season 4. She needs some remolding. While I don't think her character was destroyed nearly as much as a lot of you do here*, she is a biiiiit rough around the edges. Season 2 Clementine was a bit too capable, but I liked how we could decide what kind of person she's going to be. I think a lot of us played with Lee's teachings in mind. I wanna get back to more of that in what comes next and soften her back up a bit.
*The murdering of that con artist aside (and I just went back to rewatch it... what the fuck even happens? Still stand by that he deserved it. He attempted to murder Javi like 15 seconds before his death.), it seems sort of self-explanatory to me. She either stayed with Kenny who's brash and watched him die, stayed with Jane who's a cunt and saw her die or ended up alone and everyone around her was dead... doesn't exactly mold someone into a fluffy pink pillow. Not to mention she lightens up as you go on. Her image of being an unstoppable force in a 13-year old's body... eh. She's the hero of the story. Shit's always going to be like that to some degree. And my god, this whole Gabe thing was so overblown to an uncomfortable degree. I didn't like it because I thought Gabe was a whiny fuckstick. But a developing 13-year old girl finding feelings for someone she shouldn't, oh no! Never ever see that happen! Kids and pre-teens have stupid crushes and stupid feelings. Was it forced? Sure. Was it pandering? Definitely. But let's not act like it was out of character when the character is a teenage human being. The Clementine Apologists and I declare her fine. I'm ready for more Clem.

Yeah at this point I just want Clementine to be the PC again. If that's gonna bring back the TWD feeling, then so be it.

I'd rather they do what they promised to do when ANF was announced, have someone else AND Clementine as the playable protagonists, but evenly split (like Rhys and Fiona), not 98% some new guy, then 2% clementine (although I didn't mind playing as Javier pretty much the entire time)

I honestly wouldn't care if Clem was never seen again and we just played as Javi from now on, Clem is just too unlikable now.
