I'd give it a 7/10. Pretty good episode, but kind of boring in parts. Oh, and give how forgettable this series has been, I've retroactively saying the previous two episodes are also 7/10. Thoughts:I liked all the Gamora/Nebula stuff, and I really loved Mantis. Some of the jokes just completely landed flat though, and after three episodes, Drax's whole thing is starting to get really... boring. Like, it was initially interesting, but they didn't do anything with it.
Weirdly Groot gets kind of a spotlight this episode, too. So, that's something.
I mean, on the whole, I don't have a lot to say. This series is good, but in a very shallow way, and that continues here.
Not sure if Nebula is dead though. That was really confusing. I mean, if she is it shouldn't be a problem to revive her. Gotta love the whole "I won't murder anyone to charge the forge!" argument from Gamora as she immediately kills dozens of Hala's soldiers and charges the forge. Choices:-"Used my words" to deal with the bully. -Let Nebula win. -Told Gamora to try and reconcile with Nebula. -Let Nebula stay. -Empowered the Eternity Forge.

Finally got episode 3 and finished it. That was a good flashback with young Peter coming face to face with that bully again, and actually tested to see if I could actually keep the promise I made back in Ep. 3. I also like the flashback with Gamora and Nebula. Talking with Thanos? Yeah, I didn't miss him. Also, I knew there was issues going on with them, but I didn't think that Nebula would actually stab her in the gut in their last mission together.
I was not expecting to be meeting Mantis, or the fact that she was the one sending Peter those visions all this time. But it was nice having her around. Probably the silliest was when she was floating outside of space and Peter had to fly out and get her.
What actually surprised me was actually being in control as Nebula when reliving the flashback again. I had thought we were only going to play as the five guardians. Not only that, but we even get to play as Mantis during the fight against Hala at one point. But, we did get to see things in Nebula's perspective, which reveals that she was about to kill the Kree General Tar-vull, but Gamora stepped in before she could deal the final blow herself. And Thanos threatening to kill Gamora if she didn't do it herself certainly didn't make it any easier. But I was able to help them reconnect. Hopefully I can help keep it that way.
That final choice was really difficult to make. No matter what I decide to do with the Entirety Forge, two members of the Guardians were gonna be pissed off at me. Even when the moment came to decide, I had to think for a few extra minutes. And after the battle with Hala, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the penultimate episode goes with the consequences of my decision.
CHOICES: - I kept my promise to Pete's mom and used my words to deal with the bully. I was surprised she actually slapped him like that, but in her defense, he was asking for it. - I let Nebula win. Maybe that's not how it would actually happen, but I guess I was trying to be a good sister in that moment. - I trusted Mantis to hold my gun. I knew she wouldn't use it to hurt me. Though, I didn't think she'd use it to shoot her tomb over the edge. - I told Mantis to stay out of my head. As cool as her power is, not everyone wants their mind read. - I chose Groot for Mantis to use her powers on. I was thinking I'd be able to get a better understanding of Groot since its hard to know what he's saying most of the time. - I stayed silent when Mantis described the Celestial One. - I told Rocket that I wasn't gonna empower the Eternity Forge. He wasn't happy with that and said some hurtful things, but I knew he was drunk and didn't really mean any of it, so I kept my cool. - I told Gamora to try and reconcile with Nebula. Family is always worth fighting for. - I Let Nebula stay. No matter what they've been through, they're still sisters. - I destroyed the Eternity Forge. It took me some time before I finally made up my mind. In the end, I decided that killing a life to bring back another is not worth it.

oh, sorry to double post, but fuck it. forgot about my choices. exact same as zyphon's the only reason why i decided to empower the forge instead of destroying it is because it may prove useful in the future...hopefully. plus, i did it for muh boi rocket. god knows he wants that otter pussy.

Played episode 3. Still wholeheartedly enjoying the series. The Slap Fight was hilarious. I think overall it's pretty well written.
And my GOD Mantis is hot in this game.

Another 7/10. Good with some real standout moments, but kind of boring and forgettable on the whole. Thoughts:I guess I kinda have to respect them for killing Drax and Nebula. I don't know, I don't think either death really hit as hard as they should, but they gave it their best effort. A couple of the actions scenes were good, but mostly there were just so many tedious conversations and gameplay segments. This episode confirms my position that Telltale's Series' are worse when they include gameplay.
I was thinking that in episode 5 we'd have a choice between Peter's Mom, Nebula, Karamari, and Lylla of who to revive, but maybe not. I'm kinda curious to see the different outcomes, but.... eh, not that much.
I bet Hala's son is going to betray her and help the Guardians. Choices:Rocket is a Guardian. Gamora is MIA. Drax is dead. Groot is MIA. Mantis is MIA. Hala has the empowered forge. Nebula is dead.
-Went on a last adventure with Peter's mom. -Went with Gamora and Groot. -Plugged Nebula into the ship. -Sacrificed all of Peter's personal belongings, but kept Groot's plant, Bowie, and the tape deck. -Went out the colon(is this choice at all important?) -Allowed Drax to sacrifice himself. Honestly got confused about the prompt. Oh well. -Bowie joined the guardians.

Done with the penultimate episode of the Guardians. And the saddest of this series. The Eternity Forge is destroyed, but now Hala has somehow absorbed its power in the explosion. Just couldn't be that easy could it? We get another flashback of young Peter and his mom. Though I didn't expect to have to keep us from veering off to our deaths. Not bad for first time driving though. Meanwhile, everyone was just at each others throats and keeping everyone together is no easy task. At least we gained a new pet. I was surprised to hear Gamora say that she's thinking about leaving, but I convinced her not to, by saying that there is something between us. Peter didn't outright say that he loves her, but it was enough for Gamora to stick around. And Groot momentarily ends high as a kite after breathing in those toxic spores and sneezes out flowers on his arm. Sneaking through that cave of worms was pretty suspenseful. That one worm that popped out scared me, I thought I was done for. And then we get to see Drax's memory with his daughter; training her and making her first tattoo. I thought that it was very sweet. He cared so much for her and his wife. And once that was over, we end up running for our lives back to the Milano and then get eaten alive by a giant worm. To make things worst, Nebula couldn't be fixed. Her final moments was so emotional. After all I did to bring her and Gamora back together again. In the end, she died trying to protect her sister. Rest In Piece. To get Milano working, I had to glide through the worm's stomach with the jets' limit amount of airtime to get the engines we need, and lighten the load. I actually learned my lesson when it comes to hording things. So, for the sake of making sure we can get the ship running at full power and out of the giant worm, I tossed everything, even the picture of Pete's mom. Memories can last a lifetime, but the people around you cannot be easily replaced. I wasn't gonna leave lil Blue behind though. He stays. Once it was all said and done, the Guardians all ended up going their separate ways. Drax, Mantis, Rocket and Groot, they all walked away, despite me trying to reason with them. The only one who stuck around with me is Gamora. But Hala is still out there, doing damage to the galaxy. In the finale, I'm gonna need to round everyone up for one last stand against Hala, or the galaxy will be as dead as disco. MY CHOICES:* I chose to keep going with the camping trip. She wanted to have one last happy memory, and I wanted to go along with it. - I named the worm Blue. Seemed appropriate enough. * I traveled with Gamora and Groot. This was tough to decide, but I figured Rocket is already pretty upset with me Gamora would be more willing to let me go with her. - I let Kamaria go. It's the hardest thing for a parent to do. * I exited out the front of the giant worm. Figured we'd have a better chance of getting out that way. * I refused to sacrifice Drax. I already lost Nebula. I wasn't about to let anyone else die. Drax may be mad at for it now, but I hope we can make amends soon. I also feel bad Groot lost his arm like that. * In the end, I made a new friend. Welcome to the team, Blue.

Also good boy, its Bowie or nothing!

Hence why it's the right pick.

An update from the Marvel website about the upcoming finale.
Marvel.com: There’s just one episode remaining, what can you tell us about the upcoming finale? Is there any one part of the story’s conclusion that you’re most excited to share with players?
Justin Lambros: I couldn’t be more excited about the final episode. The team building it worked on the early episodes of the project, so they’re carrying a lot of passion and knowledge for what’s come before in the series. It’s a very complex, branched episode that really aims to pay off on the character choices and consequences from the series in a big way. And without spoiling anything, I’m most excited about how we’ve kept the big final choice that we had planned from the early stages of pre-production and also added some more branched content and new moments that we didn’t even conceive of at the earliest points. So, I’m hoping that whatever content the players get, they feel a strong emotional attachment to what they’ve decided for these characters, and, hopefully they get to save the galaxy as well.
