So I finally played Episode 2.
Another 8/10 to my mind. Pretty great episode. Not that funny, but it doesn't push the humor too much so that's fine. Some very emotional, dramatic moments. Cool character stuff, solid action as far as Telltale is concerned, and it's setting up a pretty interesting mystery. This continues to be the best series Telltale has done since GOT and TFTB.

The stuff with Rocket and Lylla was legitimately really emotional. I like how they set up the scene between Rocket and Quill with the computer at the end throughout the episode, and the moment where Lylla gets to see the outside just before she dies... actually hit pretty hard. And the choice beforehand was actually tougher than I thought.
I liked everything to do with Nebula. I've kind of had a soft-spot for Nebula in the movies for some reason? So I liked that you could take the approach of trying to trust her.
Seems like it might be meaningless, but I don't know, we'll see. So far, Guardians has done really well making me feel like my choices matter.
I like all the stuff with Drax, too. I ended up hurting him after I consoled him earlier in the episode because I wanted to give Gamora time with Nebula, especially since she was pissed at me going to Halfworld earlier in the episode and Nebula losing her arm and losing track of Thanos's body and all that stuff.
Also, the mystery is building, and I like it.
The one complaint I have is that Hala didn't do much as a villain, and I wish the intro sequences were more like Tales's. There's the music, but they aren't very cinematic.
It's... weird.
But yeah, solid episode, leading me to think this will be a solid series. Doesn't seem to be over-reaching like Batman did, and I like these characters and the story, so I'm pretty excited for what comes next.

Choices:
-Promised Rocket we'd go to Halfworld.
-Told Drax to talk to Gamora. Whoops, they were kind of at odds later, but I still feel like that was a good choice.
-Went to Halfworld.
-Carried Lylla outside.
-Helped Rocket bury Lylla.
-Told Gamora and Drax I'd tried to be nice to Nebula
-Told Gamora to leave the room.
-Put Gamora in charge of guarding Nebula.
-Told Rocket to keep the computer.
-Released Nebula to help fight the Kree. Hopefully she doesn't betray the Guardians no matter what.
