I don't know, I'm in the mood to talk about Batman so here goes:
So I think at this point we can kind of see where S1 is heading. Joker and other villains are established in Ep 4, but not used right away. Bats arrests Penguin in Ep 4, possibly takes down Two-Face/talks Harvey away from a mental break. Bats takes down Lady Arkham in Ep 5, Gotham accepts him as their hero. We've established some villains, Bats is a hero, working with Gordon, we've laid the ground-work for future stuff.
Now, full disclosure, I'm definitely a fan of the Bat-family. Eventually, I'd love to see a season(if this series goes that far) that focuses more on the bat-family and not Bruce himself. So, that's kind of where I'm going with this.
I imagine the bat-family would start to come together in Season Two. Introduce Dick Grayson in the premiere, maybe even have Zucco as the main villain before dropping a tease for the Joker. The Joker is no doubt going to be the main villain of S2. Don't know what kind of Joker we're dealing with here, so I'm not sure I want to speculate on that. I would definitely like to see Batgirl in Season Two as well. Bruce will have taken in Dick and would be hesitant of letting him become Robin, then Babs shows up and players would have a choice: just go ahead full-speed with endangering children, or try to turn them away from that life. This would also lead into some conflict with Gordon. I don't know, I think just like how in this season we have all of the "Bruce dealing with the truth about his parents" and Selina romance subplots, so a Robin/Batgirl subplot that puts Bats in some sort of conflict with Gordon would be good.
Maybe as a near end of the season stakes raiser thing, we could have Babs be paralyzed by the Joker, just like in The Killing Joke, but I don't know, again, depends on the type of Joker we get. We could have Oracle show up in the finale though and that'd be really cool. And there's a lot of potential for Robin storylines, too.
While we're at it, we could possibly have Batwing show up? I mean, we know that Luke Fox exists in this universe, so... Also, I'd love to see Batwoman show up, and it's pretty likely since DC is pushing her right now to try and be more LGBT positive.
Basically, for Season 2: Joker as the main villain. Bats is still the focus, but have assembling the Bat-fam is a sub-plot. Possibly raise the stakes by taking elements from The Killing Joke. If there's a dick/Babs romance, then Dick is devastated and blames himself, Gordon is angry at Bats, Babs is paralyzed, etc. But then in Episode 5, Bats, Robin, Oracle, Gordin, and whoever else all team together to take down the Joker. Overall message that Batman is stronger with his allies/family, sets things up for a possible Season 3 to be a full-on Bat-family focused season.
Also, possibly have Dick become Nightwing by the end and have a tease for Jason Todd as the next Robin?
I don't know if this is going too far, but for a third season, I'd love to have multiple perspectives from the Bat-family. Obviously Bruce would still be one, but give POV to Nightwing/Robin/Dick, Oracle/Batgirl, Robin/Red Hood/Jason, Batwoman(or whoever else), etc. Maybe a big time-skip from S2 to S3, Bats is older, definitely Bat-dad now. Possible storylines:
-could introduce the Court of Owls, have Nightwing take them down
-I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A BATGIRL/ORACLE VS. THE RIDDLER STORYLINE. Seriously, why has no one done this??? Riddler's big thing is he wants to best the "World's Greatest Detective", but honestly??? Babs is probably the smartest member of the Bat-fam(as far as going up against the Riddler, Tim is definitely the smartest as far as computer smarts). Plus, Babs using her Eidetic Memory to solve Ed's riddles?? Anyway.
-idk man you could still do the whole bootcamp thing with Batwoman, but twist it so they're not doing the exact same thing as the comics right now
-Actually, yeah if there was a tease at the end of S2 for Jason as the next Robin, his storyline could be his transformation into Red Hood. And it'd be a chance for Telltale to put their own spin on a well established storyline, so that could be cool.
Basically, I want to see the Bat-family at some point. Soon, hopefully.
