Only nine more hours until the 2016 VGAs! For those who don't know yet, games confirmed to show up include Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Shovel Knight 2, and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. Also, Gameinformer says that the cover story of their January issue will be revealed their as well, which they say is a VERY exciting game to announce. I'm probably gonna regret this, but I am 100% sure that Telltale will be revealing their Guardians of the Galaxy game at the VGAs. If not, I will take one dare of my choosing from anyone here.

Oh I don't doubt they will absolutely release the GOTG game teaser. I just wonder what else will crop out. I mean, wasn't No Man Sky first shown three years ago? Which unfortantely has become the new Aliens Colonial Marines ever since.

Ok, here we go - some categories are missed because I haven't played the games or not interested in them. Best Game Developer:
- Naughty Dog (Uncharted 4) - I'm far too biased in favour of Naughty Dog. Been biased towards them since I was in utero.
Best Narrative:
- Uncharted 4
- I didn't play any of the others aside from Firewatch, and the narrative for that had such wasted potential in the latter half that it was depressing. If they'd gone "mystical shit" or "madman in forest LITERALLY WANTS TO KILL YOU, FEEL PARANOID" it'd be more of a contender. So it falls to Uncharted 4. Not as powerful a narrative as the Last of Us had, but still fairly good. Best Art Direction:
- Can't decide between Firewatch and UC4. Firewatch wins in the stylised sense, Uncharted wins out for photorealism.
Best Performance:
- North and Baker are far too typecast at this point, so I can't vote for them. Similarly, though, I'm not sure Jones and Summer really stand on their own? If I was voting for them as a duo then they'd get the vote, but alone I'm unsure.
Best Indie Game:
- Firewatch - only one I played, wins by default.
Best Action/Adventure Game:
- Uncharted 4. I played Ratchet and Clank but by GOD is it a SEVERE FUCKING DISAPPOINTMENT. For what you get, the game should cost less than ten quid. There's nothing to it, it's a bastardised version of the original. It's fucking shite.
GAME OF THE YEAR:
- Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
- wins by default.

I mean tbh I prefer GTA V over TLOU. TLOU has good story but pretty bad gameplay in my opinion, GTA V has good story and great gameplay.

I've always disliked GTA. Found them boring. I'm not big into the gangster/crime scene.

Honestly, I don't see the appeal of GTA's story(or it's *ahem* "satire" for that matter), and the gameplay seems like... more or less any other open world game but just polished and with more bells and whistles.
