Looks pretty decent.
Although, another "batman's parents die" scene incoming. Great

I've just realized that every slogan for Harvey's campaign will sound pretty fucked up when someone brings it up after Harvey turns into Two-Face.
"A new face for Gotham" - obviously... "Put a Dent in crime" - literally. "Our hope is in Harvey" - news reporter: 'first it was the Waynes, now it's Harvey Dent... now there's no hope left.'

O/u: 1.5 pages of discussion once the episode is released?

I've just started watching the playthrough on YT and can't help but think about one detail... Episode 1ALFRED: Your father despised men like Falcone. Preview of Episode 2ALFRED: Your parents were good people, Bruce, regardless of what Falcone told you! Episode 2ALFRED: Your father made a pact with Falcone and Hill. I hated him. I mean, get your shit together, Telltale

Alright, I'm just past the Montoya & revolution part, and my guess is that Cobblepot's father was behind the hit on Waynes. That's what Falcone probably wanted to say before he was silenced.
After Thomas was killed, it's likely that Falcone & Hill destroyed Cobblepots (Oz says in Ep1 that Falcone was to blame for the fact that his family lost their wealth) and now, after Oz came back to Gotham, he will take his revenge on those who destroyed his family (that's why he killed Falcone and will probably go after Hill). He warned Bruce, but after he finds out Waynes were involved with Falcone, he'll put Bruce on his list too.

All in all, a decent episode. Your choices from last episode didn't seem to have much impact, but after this episode, there's no way your choices DON'T have impact. Creating Two Face, or just having Selina get injured was kind of a lame choice though, tbh. Real clear right answer there.

A pretty good episode. I'd give it maybe an 8/10. 8.5? 8.5. Thoughts: I really do like this version of the Penguin(though it's really bothering me that there's no reason why he's the Penguin. I mean, every other version of him, he has flipper hands, he's so fat and short that he waddles like a penguin, or even the most similar version to the Telltale Penguin, the one in the Gotham TV show, who has a weird limp because of his leg injury. But this Penguin is just.... Penguin, for no real reason. Just bothered me, but aside from that, really cool villain. I like that he's basically coming from the same place Bruce is, he's just willing to kill and take way more extreme measures to get what he wants. I just really like the whole crazed revolutionary angle.
The Children of Arkham are... interesting, I guess. I mean, so far all we know is that Penguin was using them as muscle at the debate, and they want to expose the truth. I guess we'll see more of them next episode.
I'm not a fan of the Catwoman/Batman romance(just, ever, really), so I kind of, just personally, wished that Vicki had a bigger role. I mean, they could have just done more flashes to what was going on during the debate when that was happening. Instead, we just heard what was happening faintly in the background.
I'd be interested to hear how making different choices changed things, what inform Hill would give if you agreed not to support Harvey, or if you approached him as Batman instead of Bruce.... If you don't save Harvey, is that how he becomes Two-Face? I'm just very interested to see what happens with the choices.
On the whole: Still enjoying this series a lot, and I thought this was a great episode. Choices: -Forgave Alfred. -Told Harvey why I needed to see Falcone. (sidenote: I know Gordon probably lets you in no matter what but it was nice to at least have my choice to give him evidence acknowledged) -Eased Falcone's pain. He wasn't going to give me any information if I hurt him. -Didn't give Vicki any information. Kind of regret it, but I still didn't want to betray Gordon. -Didn't Kiss Selina. Like I said, not a fan of the Selina/Bruce romance. -Approached Hill as Bruce... Kind of regret doing so. -Told Hill I'd stand by Harvey. -Didn't withdraw my support from Harvey. -Saved Harvey. He seemed like he needed help more.

Creating Two Face, or just having Selina get injured was kind of a lame choice though, tbh. Real clear right answer there. And yet the majority of people choose to save Selina. :/ I do have to wonder if maybe Saving Dent will lead Selina to become to more clear-cut villain Catwoman rather than an anti-hero/ally to Batman?

So compared to episode 1, this felt like a HUGE improvement... Like I said before, my knowledge of Batman lore is practically non-existant, save for general knowledge of things my brother's told me. Came as a huge shock to me when Montoya killed Falcone, seeing as I thought of him as a big character in the DC universe. Second, the whole dynamic with Selina and Bruce is really interesting, that bar fight probably being one of my favorite Telltale battles of all time along with Lee VS the walkers in Ep. 5, Rhys VS Accountants in Ep. 4, and Jesse VS Aiden in MCSM Ep. 5.
@zyphon I gotta agree with you on Oz, I've only had experience with the classic midget Penguin, but god Telltale's version of him is just fucking incredible. Definitely tied with Carver, Ludd, and Norma for favorite villain (Handsome Jack would be here too but technically he's not by Telltale).
One gripe I had with this episode was Blockbuster's use. From what Zyphin told me I was kind of expecting a bigger threat here, but to me he seemed more like just a super-powered goon, kind of like Bloody Mary but with no characterization. And of course he had to be voiced by Steve Blum (had trouble at first telling if it was him or Adam Harrington) seeing as he voices all the big burly guys nowadays (Dempsey in COD Zombies, Zeb in Star Wars Rebels and Grayson in Bulletstorm to name a few). Funny thing is prior to this I was wondering if he'd ever do a Telltale Game, seeing as we've already got other big VAs like Troy Baker, Nolan North, Laura Bailey, and Yuri Lowenthal in previous ones. Hope we end up seeing more of him before the season's end. Mah Choices:BTW anyone mind if I make a thread about speculation for who the leader of the Children of Arkham is? Might be a little early but you never know...

This is getting really good at the plot thickens. I knew that this episode was gonna start off in Crime Alley, but I had thought that we would take control of Young Bruce first and then flash forward to Adult Bruce, but I like how it started off with walking down memory lane. I'm still surprised that his parents actually were connected with corrupted people like Falcone and Hill, and I had given Vicki a quote about how the Wayne family never had such connections. Well, shit.
At the GCPD station, I thought that we were actually gonna have a brief meeting with Barbara Gordan, but unfortunately we didn't. Seeing Montoya act friendly to Bruce Wayne irked me a little seeing as how she was trigger happy to Batman back at the Skyline Club. I was actually expecting to having an argument with her later on. But then, she ends up being a victim to being forced to kill Falone just as he was giving me answers. And now I just feel bad for her.
Seeing Oswald, AKA The Penguin, a second time did not feel as "friendly" as it did last time. Now, he's actually already started his revolution with the break-in at City Hall, the mess at the docks, and is the one who hired Catwoman. Also, Blockbuster sure is one tough bastard. And nothing beats a good ol' fashioned bar fight. And tag-teaming with Selina was awesome. Although, I was worried about what would happen after it was over. That maybe Bruce might get in trouble with the press about it. But, fortunately, no one identified him. That meeting with Hill was not fun. Seeing just how corrupted he is in person made me want to dangle him from the window as well. But I couldn't.
This is the first episode to have two major choices that got me to pause the game to think over what would be the right thing to do. I'm glad that Catwoman came to help out again at the Theater. And thank you, Gordan, for not shooting her. I was very worried about Harvey and Vicki when Penguin showed up to hold them hostage, and then comes the guy really behind this "revolution"; The leader of the Children of Arkham. I'm not entirely sure, but I'm thinking that's Scarecrow behind that mask. It was hard to watch that footage of Thomas and Hill like that, to see this side of Thomas Wayne. The showdown with the Children of Arkham was intense, and shoving that EMP in Blockbuster's mouth? Holy shit! And I did expect to have to choose between Harvey and Catwoman like that in the end. Really excited to see what happens in Episode 3 of this Batman series.
P.S. If you read the updated news, it turns out that not breaking the Dock shooter's arm will allow him to escape custody from the police, and I'm like "Are you kidding me?! Goddammit!"
MY CHOICES: - I eased Falcone's pain. I already did enough damage to him at his club. Didn't need to twist the knife. - I tried to kiss Selina. The mood seemed right and she did ask if we were alone. But then I felt a lil embarrassed when she stopped me. - I chose to see Mayor Hill as Bruce Wayne. This was one of the decisions that made me pause the game and think it over. In the end, I took Alfred's advice about how Gothamites look up to Batman and thought about how I probably shouldn't depend too much on being Batman. - I continued to fund Harvey's campaign. Gotham needs a new mayor. A better mayor than Hill could ever be. He's not Two-face yet, and I need all the help I can get. - I chose to save Harvey over Selina. Another choice that I had to pause and think. I didn't know what to do. I thought one of them would die, but I'm glad that wasn't the case. In the end, I concluded that this might be how Harvey becomes Two-face. But then I thought, "what if I could actually prevent that from happening to him?" I just hope Selina won't be too mad at me.
Bonus Choices: - I forgave Alfred. I couldn't stay mad or hold anything against him. He's all the family Bruce has left. - I opened up to Harvey and told him why I needed to see Falcone. He's doing a lot to help me out. Least I could do is be honest. - I gave up Montoya's name to Vicki. I trusted her to handle the info properly and prevent another scandel, though I wish Bruce would've also mentioned that Montoya was drugged. - I refused to make a deal with Mayor Hill. I didn't need anything from Falcone, and I sure as hell don't need anything from Hill.

Might be a little early but you never know... Jesus you put a LOT of stock into this episode. It was good, but I don't think that bar fight was even on the same plane of existence as the Armed With Death sequence, or even the Rhys v. Accountants. Jesus. Also, figure I should tell you, the only major Batman villains included in the game so far are Catwoman, Penguin, and Harvey Dent. And even then, Two Face was only really made more relevant by the Dark Night, from my recollection. Just a heads up. Only major characters from the Batman universe here are Gordon, Wayne, Vale, Bruce himself, and Alfred. Nobody else has even been all that relevant. At least from my understanding of the franchise. I wouldn't really expect much of anybody outside of that group. I was surprised Falcone was as relevant as he was.

I continue to like, not love, this game. I "saved" Selina. Wanna stick it in.
