Way too tired, not worth being exhausted tomorrow morning to play this filler dick grease.
If I'm spoiled, I'm spoiled. I'll check back in on Friday. This thread, that is. Remember when Telltale used to make games that actually warranted avoiding the entire forum until you could play? LOLOLOLOLOL good times.

Allow me to confirm that they cut this finale down fuckin' significantly to make the release date. Not just this episode, but ep2 as well - through the power of unused models!!!!111!!!!Ok so who the fuck is Dave? I honestly think this is one of the first times a TWDG series has cut a character entirely. Rashid and Vanessa... I think Pete mentions they're the ones he's looking for in the radio but I can't remember and fuck if I'm playing this again. Looking at the files they have lighting stuff for John's house and a shoreline area so it looks like they were kept in right up until the fucking wire. These three are fairly self explanatory - just unique zombies TTG never implemented. The zombie kids would've fucking destroyed michonne when she was tripping so it's weird they didn't put them in. But here's the fucking kicker: Now, I don't know if this is a non-canon death or whatever, but if not they also cut out a major plot point.

Wow, that looks like a pretty big ammount which makes me wonder if they put those files in because they were some short of placeholder for some other characters or WIP's for Season 3 (well Vanessa and Rashid were obviously cut out). That reminds me that since Season 1 TWDG there has no been any zombified child (even if Sarah likely turned -__- ) in the game could it be that TTG has started to go through this? Well to be fair a lot of dead underage characters still show up, but still never zombified...?

I will post photos of their models later. Even James bite

Alright, I was supposed to post this earlier, but didn't have time. The finale underlines every mistake of this series. See, the first half of the episode was all about TT doing damage control. They realized that killing off characters won't be impactful because we don't care about most of them - sometimes we don't even know their names.
So what does TT do? Starts the ep with a flashback. By this moment we should all realize it means people from the crew will die, because developers try to establish a connection with them that simply wasn't there before.
Of course that wouldn't be so bad if it weren't gor the fact that this is the fuckin' finale that was preceeded by 2 episodes. What did the writers do to make us care earlier? Well, almost nothing. Which begs for another question - what was the point of Eps 1-2 if everything is established before the finish line? That's TT's sweet secret.
This is also connected with another thing - pacing. There's almost 20 minutes of screentime reserved for Michonne handing out guns. And suddenly everyone feels quite talkative and philosophical. But fucking why? You had 2 episodes to do that, TT, not now, when there's supposed sense of urgency that Norma may come at any time!
The entire 'trade' hangs on the fact I mentioned after the premiere of Ep2 - that we're the villains in this story. We helped the thief, we burned down the settlement, we killed innocent people. And Norma's still fucking patient with us. She's the true good guy in here that ends up badly.
Why's that? Because Randall's death doesn't make any fucking sense. Seriously, his plan was to run towards an armed group to tackle Michonne? Another cheap death and nothing more than giving a shitty reason for Norma to attack.
I'm not even going to comment on the Angst!Pete, because it made me roll my eyes. We're not killing anybody, but let's forget that we killed 2 people in the house last episode, blah blah, maybe this isn't all worth it, blah blah, it's the finale so a good guy should question his goodness, blah blah.
And Michonne's kids... Overkill. Flashbacks in ep2 worked well because they showed actual events after apocalypse. But now the kids are everywhere and its beyond annoying. While the final scene, where Michonne leaves them in their father's custody was good, it led to another choice as empty as the first choice of the entire game - leave/stay with your kids. What kind of choice is that? Stay with figments of your imagination? These figments, by their very definition, follow people everywhere. And they did, because Michonne still sees them at the end. Ugh.
This can lead to Sam's death, of course, but it was her only redemptive moment, because she was still unlikable tp me (and kind of anoying in the finale) up until that moment.
I don't know why, but seeing the house burn down was oddly satisfying in a way, because Norma still got her revenge on people who fucked her over. Because of all this - the fact that the series made me root for Monroe instead of the playable character and her group - it's the ultimate reason why this series fails.

I agree completely, TWDM was just a complete waste of time and money, by far the worst thing TTG has made (though I haven't played MCSM).

Agreed, when a series makes me actively root for the bad guy's, you have failed. I mean, you can use that in a clever way, like Spec Ops the Line, but this wasn't clever.

Speaking of endings, might as well make my (probably controversial) favorite endings to Telltale Games.
7. TWAU 6. MCSM Wither Storm Saga 5. TWD Michonne 4. GoT S1 3. TWD S1 2. TWD S2 (I'm going with the Wellington ending here since that's the one I got) 1. TFTBL

TWD S2 (I'm going with the Wellington ending here since that's the one I got) 1. TFTBL I'm eliminating Minecraft from my list, because I didn't play it. Mind you, the list regards endings, not final episodes. 6. GOT (because there's no ending) 5. Michonne (the ending in itself wasn't bad, but it's in the 5th place because others are better) 4. TWDS2 (Wellington/alone endings; if Jane ending - then it switches places 4th and 5th with Michonne) 3. TWDS1 (hey, maybe I'm a robot, but I didn't cry. We all knew the inevitable was coming since ep4, but it was a powerful ending nonetheless) 2. TFTBL (despite the fact it's my favorite TT game, I think it stumbled before the finish line, with the last 10 minutes being JUST good and not awesome like the rest of the game) 1. TWAU ('Let her go' ending. If 'Go after her' ending - then it switches places 1st and 2nd with TFTBL) Side note: I believe, out of all these endings, that Michonne is the only TT game that doesn't end with any kind of plot twist or shocker. It just ends, with Michonne seemingly letting go of her kids.

OK, I played. Fair warning, I played tipsy and took notes throughout and looking back there are like, maybe two on-topic, reasonable thoughts and 99% hot gas. If you're looking for actually analysis, skip this post. But who would be? This game STINKS. S-T-I-N-K-S. Oh, and was Poussey sneaky bad as the voice of Michonne? Food for thought. Onto the nonsense.
- Firstly, I have to vocalize my thoughts on a conspiracy. SHOCKING few number of white people in this game. Basically all the villains were white and everyone else was of color. But since the main beef was whites vs. Indians and John Redcorn was the voice of the paterfamilias of the Indians, I wonder... was the entire game just Telltale subliminally summing up this video?
- Do you think Sam wore thongs pre-apocalypse? Do you think she still does now? Is it at all possible she buried John Redcorn while wearing a thong? (This is already off the fucking rails.)
- Something about a joke with the punchline "mewtiny" is why Roberto was the best character and no one gave a fuck about him because no one knew who he was. More on this later.
- We need to discuss... *looks up her name* Paige. She has got to be the most useless, random, forcibly involved character in Telltale's history. Whenever she was on screen it was like me or you or any no name walked into the shot and we all pretended like it mattered. P.S. nice maternity shirt, girl. You're a hot blonde that's no older than 30, why you trying to look menopausal?
- The boat scene at the beginning. Jesus. "Hey, remember these guys here? And remember Fat Ass Professor Oak, that son of a dick? No? Well, here's a refresher and a humanizing moment for him so when they get put in peril later you'll at least know who they are! I'm mean... we're hoping you care about them! But really, we'll just settle for you knowing them."
- There goes Sam. Storming out of the room. I hate seeing and hearing her talk, but I love watching her go. Y'know... cuz she's a fucking hourglass?
- More of a sidenote... why does every form of media act like digging a grave in a normal yard is easy? My crotch would be raining sweat after being at it for two minutes. That isn't topsoil or sand. It's hard ass dirt. I'd be like fuck this, daddy-o can just decompose above ground.
- Had James died, I would have said: "he was a skater boi, I said see ya l8r boi." But he didn't and fucked up my Avril Lavinge joke.
- Points for Sam that actually don't involve her huge tits! She wasn't impressed by the Eiffel Tower. Yo... for real. FUCK that big, overrated metal triangle dick. There isn't a place on Earth that gets its dick sucked more than Paris and from an outsiders perspective it looks like the worst place EVER.
- Ok, Randall's turn. One piece of praise, one piece of critique. If you play the record in one of the rooms, it gives you a little musicial montage with all the characters. If Randall is alive, he hilariously turns his head in surprise with the bag still on it. I burst out laughing and I'm not sure why. For the critique... he and Norma were fucking, right? Who talks about their sister that much, or has that much admiration for their sister? Very weird, strange, probably erotic stuff. Keep in mind that this takes place in the South and they were hick-ish.
- Little hiding in closet Indian boy thinks the zombies are Wendigos. Hey, little closet Indian boy. Be more Indian. You can't.
- In Greg's room... is Greg drawing a picture of himself as Super Greg the superhero then hanging on it wall for all to see the gayest move of all-time? Has to be way up there.
- Old Telltale rule rearing its ugly head again. Remember in Role Models, when the kid summarized all white people as being Ben Affleck?
If you determinant, you DEAD. Gay kid working for Norma whose name I can't remember, thanks for the help way back when! YA DEAD! Randall, my man! Glad I didn't kill you! Whoops! YA DEAD!
- Speaking of Randall. Boy, Telltale just can't quite nail down a villain for Walking Dead that doesn't become a seething homicidal maniac, huh? Randall was so angry that he couldn't control his Hulk rage the SECOND he was freed from restraints. Bravo! Bravoooo!
- Oooooooh, real tough decision there at the end. Should I stay with my dead ass daughters and let someone who is real and alive die or should I not be a nutcase for once in my life and just snap out of it and leave? Hmmmmm. (This decision would have been soooo much harder had them titties not existed. Otherwise I would have left that annoying bitch hanging.) P.S. seems like the world agrees with, 92.8% said fuck you, daughters. 92.8%! On a final choice! BE. BETTER.
- Roberto being killed. Who didn't see that coming? Siddiq had his moments. Oak had his. Pete obviously had his. Berto? Fucker had like five lines. He's shot dead and we're expected to care? By the way, gotta think that Telltale killing off the one Hispanic is their way of saying Trump 2016.
- On final real thought on Norma... she wasn't that bad of a villain at least compared to Randall. She was willing to trade peacefully for him, which is why the choice numbers are so surprising. Only 39.8% put her out of her misery? 60.2% of players are that clueless and heartless?
- That she was so eager to get Randall back on further validates my incest theory.
- Last note: I really think I could give it to Sam good. Like, really good. For probably almost 45 seconds. But she definitely still wears thongs.
To sum up, game was very boring and super pointless and I needed to just write a thousand words of nothing to even discuss it.
