I'd say it being Minecraft is more likely; episodes being sent off for rating usually indicates a 2-3 week gap before release, and I would expect Michonne to be released closer to the end of the month whereas Minecraft should probably conclude sooner than that.

I've just read, like, the worst theory ever - what makes it bad is that it might be possible.
Someone in one of the Steam discussions suggested that Sam might be the protagonist in TWD3.
While I still stand by my opinion that Sam is a lying, fake, annoying bitch, that doesn't really mean that she can have a magical 'change of heart' by the end of the Michonne series. In TWD3, she might stumble upon Howe's/Wellngton/Clem etc., seeking refugee, but the place will be doomed, blah blah blah, all 5 endings of TWD2 reconnect in the same place.
(seriously though, I hope that won't happen)

Honestly I'm impartial to Sam Girl looks fine, though
... Though to be fair I' ve been kinda of an unattached to all characters in TWDG by Amid the Ruins, so... I really don't care if it's gonna be Clementine or not... ... but it's gonna be Clem 90% chance.

I don't think playing as Clem was the problem as much as it was that they made her hyper-competent as a stark contrast to her characterization in Season 1, which came off as overcompensation so people could relate to her more and she could have choices to make with more influence. However, in doing so, they also strained believability as you had grown adults looking to Clementine. If, instead of trying to have Clementine pull a Heisenberg so they could make Season 2 like an action movie by having Carver/etc, they had instead stuck to making a down to earth and intimate story where Clementine was still vulnerable and inquisitive, I don't think people would have complained as much.

Here's an idea for season 3... how about sticking with Clementine and just getting it right this time?
Telltale has to have heard at least SOME of the murmurs about the displeasure with season 2. It's the perfect chance for redemption. It's a completely clean slate. Literally. Unless Kenny pulls another miracle out of his dick, he'll be out of the way by episode 2. Same with Jane. Clem can be completely reinvented.
