I really do love the logo. Reminds me of the last issue of Scott Snyder's recent run on Batman, "Gotham is...". Maybe a little hard to say what I'm talking about without spoiling the issue, and I wouldn't want to do that.
(Telltale maybe joked about getting Scott Snyder as a creative consultant for the series at the SXSW Panel, but honestly I would love if that actually managed it.... probably not because he's writing All-Star Batman now, but still)

What disappoints me though it's that it sends that Telltale's sticking with the wide-screen format they used with Michonne. Hopefully they drop it for TWD S3 and are just using it for Batman. |

Looks pretty cool. (Slightly disappointed that they decided to change the designs of a few characters. Well, only Gordon and Vicki Vale, but still).
I mean, it seems like Episode One will pretty much just be setting everything up for the rest of the season. Like, it'll probably be a... typical premiere episode, I guess. Depending on how the rest of the season goes, I think it's possible we might even take down Falcone in Episode 1. This will be our introduction to Batman, we'll take down Falcone, and then the rest of the season will be for more interesting villains.
I do like the line at the end because it looks like they'll be going for a more Snarky, Humorous Batman like in Scott Snyder's run. Or, I suppose that'll be determined by dialogue choices. Do you want to brood or crack a joke?
And does anyone know who the guy with the accent was, or is that not someone important?

Don't know if you noticed, but for the most part in their trailers, Telltale just takes lines from various points in the episode and have characters say them in points that those lines don't occur. In the parts with Harvey Dent for example, he's probably saying something different in that scene in the final episode, the line he says in the trailer is probably from a scene that doesn't appear in the trailer. They did the same thing with Minecraft Story Mode Ep.6's trailer, Tales From the Borderlands Ep. 4's trailer, and Game of Thrones Ep.5's trailer. |
