This was great! RIP That one porkchop that did nothing this entire game. I wish I had the option to eat him. My choices: Told Lukas to find his friends: I'd do the same if Olivia or anyone went missing. Didn't sneak inside the witch hut: Biggest mistake I made, might as well have taken the cake then fight them. Crafted a diamond sword: I was thinking either that or an axe, but sword just seemed cool. Took the Shield of Infinity Armor: It looked alot like Smokescreen in Transformers Prime so I wanted it. Had Gabriel keep the Order's secret: Yeah it seems like a dick move, but as far as I see it, Gabriel, Ellegard, and Ivor all proved that they were true heroes, so I let them stay heroes. And finally... FUCK. SOREN.That is all. You just made me cry again. Thanks.
But have you no heart? You may not have cared about him, but Jesse did, you may have had control over Jesse, but I'm sure no matter what your choices were, he still cared!

You're tearing me apart, Lisa Sonic! Because he's a wannabe moral compass. I feel like Reuben is a manifestation of all the wrong ways Clementine could've gone in TWD S1. I mean if Reuben actually proved to be useful besides giving Jesse his weapon in this episode, then I might've felt bad. I mean like seriously out of all the "cutie characters" as I like to call them, Reuben is the worst. I mean for god sakes in TWAU Colin was a pig and he was ten times more entertaining than Reuben. And not just because he was a talking pig who smoked cigarettes. I felt like I was actually pressured to revolve some of my choices around him. I mean, there was no moment where I made a choice based on what Reuben wanted because frankly. I didn't really care about him.
All the other "cutie characters", like Clementine, Sarah, Colin, Gortys, and Talia, I actually felt like I was going to be hated by those characters depending on my decisions. Never once did I fell threatened by Reuben to make one choice over another, so yeah.
But think about it this way. If Jesse decided to eat Reuben after he died, then that meant that he would forever be a part of him...in a sick and twisted way, but still part of him.

You didn't cared about him like I did. We all have different opinions and blah blah blah etc. Personally he was my favourite character. I loved him.
But that last part is a thing horrible to say.
I'm gonna go cry now,

Oh. My. God. This episode was so intense, it felt more than just a penultimate. Things had gone to hell real quick at the beginning, with the Wither Storm split into three, Gabriel's amnesia, Petra's sickness getting even worse and leaving us no choice but to retreat. It was pretty cool to be riding those horses though. When Ivor showed up, I was ready to punch him again. But, once he agreed to help put a stop to that Wither Storm, I was willing to accept a truce. But I still didn't completely trust him since I'm still mad at him. During that journey to the Far Lands, I was almost completely silent, right up until the last part of the intro. That maze wasn't too difficult for to get through, but damn, I sure took my time in figuring out how to get out of it. Those puzzles inside Ivor's place was pretty easy to do. Managed to solve them on my first tries. Ironically, I'm usually a bad listener. I knew that something was off during Soren's story in the Ender Dragon fight, and low and behold, the truth was finally revealed as soon as we found Ivor's book. I thought The Order only lied about the whole "five members instead of four" thing, but lying about the defeat of the Ender Dragon? God damn. That final confrontation against that Wither Storm was very epic. From pissing off the Endermen to rip that thing apart, to fighting all those tentacles inside it to finally destroy that command block. I was glad to see that Petra was finally cured of her sickness and Gabriel cured of his amnesia, due to destroying that damned command block. But, Reuben... First Magnus, and now Reuben, too? TKA? I'm so sorry that this happened to him. I knew how much you liked him. And I made sure to honor him during Jesse's speech and told the people he was what mattered the most. Rest in peace, you brave lil piggy. And now that the Wither Storm is finally gone and everything is peaceful again, what's left for us to do in the finale? MY CHOICES: -Told Lukas to find his friends. Even though I never liked his group, they were still his friends, and if there was a chance they were still alive, who am I to deny him that chance? -Didn't sneak inside the witch hut. I didn't wanna risk further endangering my friends. And Ivor. -Crafted a diamond axe. My favorite close combat weapon. -Chose to wear new armor. I think the one I picked is what Ivor called Star Sheild. The way he described it, it sounded just right for me. -Convinced Gabriel to tell the truth. After all the mayhem and chaos, and even death, that happened, the people deserved to know.

"Zombies and Pigs: An Intimate Memoir." That's brilliant.
Actually a pretty solid episode. Losing Rueben was sad. Why Lukas wasn't included in the freeze frame jump shot of the New Order, I'll never know. Seems fuckin' stupid that he wasn't. He was integral. More than Petra.
Wonder where episode 5 goes from here. Everything seems pretty wrapped. I don't know what the point of a just for fun episode would be...

I'm very dissappointed. First of all, I haven't played this episode. Not gonna play it anyway, so I don't care anymore. At first I was hopeful about this game. I knew it wouldn't have the tone of the other telltale games but still I looked forward to it, and just now, I realize I was wrong.
I have many complaints about this game. First, I need to say this. The game is multi-language. I chose my main language (spanish) on the options, and the game showed up in portuguese. First it wasn't that noticeable, just one or two lines showed up in portuguese but it was okay. But in episode four, all the fucking game is in portuguese and I don't understand shit. Okay, this is not that much of a problem, since I can put it in english and play it anyway.
Now that I got that off my chest, I'll say my real problem with this. I don't care about the characters, the only character that grew into me sightly is Ivor and he's not even a major character. All of them are plain and stereothyped in my opinion, and you know what? maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I feel. Why am I supposed to care about all these people? The story is just... nothing. It's cliche, I can't tell how many times I've seen a story like this in movies, books and other games. I know this game is supposed to be for all ages, so the story can't be dark and shit, but I don't ask for a dark story, I ask for an interesting one.
Don't get me wrong, a story can contain cliches, but it also needs original stuff to make it something different, and this is what Minecraft: SM doesn't have. Choices may matter a bit, yeah, but at what cost? If the story is shit, I don't care if the choices matter or not, really. I'm dissappointed, and I was wrong when I was hopeful about this game. I mean no offense to the people who liked it, but I didn't. It doesn't have a good story, it doesn't have interesting characters, the graphics are bad, the gameplay is non existant. What am I supposed to like about this game?

First off, don't ALL Telltale games have non existant gameplay? What makes this one special?
Second, yes the majority of this cast is sterotyped, but some characters did develop over the course of the story. Personally I found it interesting how Olivia slowly grew to believe in herself more and more and not doubt herself, and also how Soren just sort of "devolved" into a really wimpy, and cowardly character, more-so than even Ivor, who actually proved himself to be a real hero in the end.
Third, yes I get it; it IS hard to care about most of these characters. I mean, Reuben's death had NO impact on me whatsoever. The only characters I really cared for were Ultra Magnus, Ivor, and Lukas. I started out liking Magnus after I decided to go get him over Ellegard in Ep. 2 because I thought he'd be more useful against the Wither Storm, then he turned out to be hilarious. Naturally liking him more than Ellegard at that point, I decided to take his armor in Ep. 3, which made feel really bad about it because I ended up getting him killed in the end.

Of course that all telltale games have non existant gameplay, but at the same time, those telltale games have an interesting story, so the lack of gameplay isn't noticeable. In MCSM it is noticeable because the story is awful. If it doesn't have a good story, at least it should have something else to like, MCSM doesn't have anything else to like. About your second point, well, fair enough, but I still don't think that's major character development. It's hardly noticeable.

Good episode. I agree with Tormunds that, really, this is nothing special. But then again, it's meant for kids, the choices seem to matter, and it's just entertaining on the whole. Definitely the worst Telltale Series I've played, but not bad by any means. Not great either. Just... you know, it's good. Solid. Choices:-Let Lukas leave to find his friends. Would he be part of the New Order if I let him stay? If that's the case, then I'm going back and changing that choice. If it doesn't have a huge effect... then, whatever. -Snuck inside the Witch's Hut and stole the potion of leaping and the cake. -Used the lever from Episode 1. Glad it had some sort of effect. -Crafted a Diamond sword. Yeah, I know, boring. -Kept Ellegard's armor. I'm actually going to go back and take Magnus's armor and then pick some new armor. -Used the potion of leaping to get inside the Wither Storm. -Let Gabriel tell the truth about the order.
