...How could someone hate Luke at ths point of time?
Give him some time to develop in the upcoming episode and we'll know. He seems to act like Kenny in A House Divided about going to the mountains, like Kenny had the ocean and his boat.

Wow, nobody's been here for a while... well, that's about to change What threw me off at first was how indecisive he is - when he meets clementine, he's like 'OMG she's bitten, let's leave her!'. Later, when the cabin group discusses what to do with Clem, he suddenly goes 'I'm on your side, girl!'. Jesus... And then we have Episodes 2 and 4 (apparently - judging from the preview) where brave Luke, the leader of the cabin group, keeps running away. And then, when he heroically returns after being caught (-.-) he either discourages the group from escaping - and when he's outnumbered, he proposes to leave some people behind. I just can't stand him because of his inconsistency. It's like TT is screaming at us, 'LIKE THIS GUY! LIKE HIM!' but his actions prove otherwise.

That's true, but I don't mind it that much because I liked Kenny in S1 (sided with him on every occasion, except the first major choice - I tried to save Shawn ) and I would probably hate him if he was a new character.

Kenny is the greatest.
As for Luke.... I really don't get why people like him. He drops Clem when he thought she was bitten and only believed that she wasn't when Pete decided the accusations were false. He disappears twice, ends up getting us all in trouble because he was trying to get food. Really Luke? Of all the things to get caught for doing, not saving someone, not gathering weapons or even trying to get a fucking walkie-talke, but stealing food.
And yet, even being a fuck up, everyone seems to praise him and like him as a character. But I don't care. If there's a Luke/Kenny choice then we all know I'm gonna choose Kenny, not just because he's my favourite character, but Luke doesn't even give me a reason to even consider saving him.

Maybe not the greatest for me, but certainly among my favourite characters. Maybe it's because I also tend to be impulsive He disappears twice, ends up getting us all in trouble because he was trying to get food. Really Luke? Of all the things to get caught for doing, not saving someone, not gathering weapons or even trying to get a fucking walkie-talke, but stealing food. Aaaand it is even worse, considering that when the group was caught they weren't given ANYTHING to eat in the evening, and the next day Carver ordered his people not to give our group food. He could've made an impression by trying to sabotage something in the store, but nooo - Luke is caught because he was HUNGRY.

I just can't stand him because of his inconsistency. It's like TT is screaming at us, 'LIKE THIS GUY! LIKE HIM!' but his actions prove otherwise. 1. He was freaking out when he thought that it was a walker bite for sure. When Pete says it might actualy be a dog bite, he calms down. Keep in mind, he's the first person in the group to offer Clem some shelter untill she heals up. That didn't come from Pete. 2. In episode 2, he fixes the transformer with Kenny, and he's not with the group in episode 4 because he gets separated from them in the herd. Neither of those are his fault. 3. He is being logical. When he said they should wait, they had to deal with. * A pregnant woman less than a week away from labor. * Himself, beat to shit and starving. * Several other people in various stages of being beat up (Clementine, Carlos). * Sarita in a mess about Kenny * And to top it off, a man who is unconscious and may or may not have brain damage. When everyone else insists that they leave tonight, he brings up the logical point there is no way in hell they will manage to get an unconscious man through a herd in one peice. That's why he argued against leaving that night in the first place.
