Just finished episode four. -I make the choice to attack and kill Ludd Whitehill, arrows everywhere, everyone dies. "Eh, I'm alright with this." -VALAR MORGHULIS, forced to restart and choose to comply with Ludd's orders Fuck you too, Telltale. It's better to call Ludd's bluff IMO. And, now that you're done with Episode 4, I'm curious to know, Zeruis. At this point, who's your playable character and non-playable character so far?

If GoT was Until Dawn, Rodrik, Elissa, and the Sentinel would be dead and you'd have to just deal with it. But yeah, I do agree with Bio in that the choices aren't the most important thing, and I probably feel differently about that scene since I just called his bluff, but GoT excels still at making those choices feel like they'll matter in the moment, even if I know they won't matter. Like, my heart was practically hammering its way out of chest in that scene, and yeah it does suck that it doesn't really matter, but I still remember how stressed it made me feel the first time, not how the choice didn't matter. But that's just me. And I will say that it's really cool in stories where the choices do matter. Like, I loved how the second time through until Dawn, when my friend got a character killed, it ended up cutting an entire section of the game out and we missed a choice completely, and it changed the dynamic between a few other characters for the rest of the story. Obviously I prefer a story where my choices matter, but i'm not too bothered if they don't. Yep, if I had a choice in the matter, then yes I would want the choices to matter, but that's not the most important detail. People get hung up on that detail more then they should, focus on everything else, that is what truly matters.

"Eh, I'm alright with this." -VALAR MORGHULIS, forced to restart and choose to comply with Ludd's orders Fuck you too, Telltale. You could have also called his bluff. At that point, I realized Telltale was just making me restart to agree with him. Didn't realize that. Rodrick's probably my favorite so far, though I'm liking Mira more and more. I don't understand why Gared is important now, I don't think anything he does with the North Grove is going to be relevant towards the Forresters by the end. Couldn't care less about Asher. Royland's my man. I was a bit scared at seeing him gone when Rodrick returned to Ironrath (I took Duncan with me), but I hope I'll see him next episode.
