Ep. 1: 8.5/10
Ep. 2: 8/10
Ep. 3: 7.5/10
Ep. 4: 9.5/10
Ep. 5: 9/10
Overall: 8.5/10
Like others have been saying, the choices' impacts are alot more meaningful than they were in TWD S2, but some still miss their mark (Malcolm/Beskha, and the Glenmore Guard in Ep.4). Regardless, this is still a pretty good series, and Telltale would have to REALLY fuck up Ep. 6 for me to hate this.

Pretty much, they would have to make something far worse then AMR to even come close to making me hate it. Also I find it funny that people complained that Malcolm or Beskha didn't die from the dragonfire wounds. Those do realize that would make said character determined right? They do know what that means right?

So how is TT's GoT? If I hated Walking Dead S2, will I get tired of this?
I've been hearing the narrative turns people off for people who aren't fans of GoT. Is this just like the show/books where pretty much everyone is an irredeemable asshole and everyone dies in an edgy way?

I for one think it's incredibly generic and predictable, but if you can't get enough of the 'visual novel games' Telltale makes, you'll have a fun time with it.

It's very much like the show, but the main cast of characters are quite likable, the bad guy's are not, but I suppose they aren't black and white evil. I personally think it's fantastic, but you NEED to have season the TV series or read the books.

Actually I agree, Season 1 of TWD will forever be godlike, but GOT and TWAU are neck and neck for number 2, or hell even a tie if the finale is great.

You pretty much need to have seen up to the third Season of the Show because that's where it starts and it doesn't explain anything, just expects that you've seen the show. Like Jayko said, it's pretty much my favorite Telltale Series right now. At times it does flat-out ignore your choices in pretty awful ways, but it's handled determinants better than anything past TWD S1, and what it does better than any series so far, even more so than TWD S1 I'd say, it make those choices feel like they'll matter in the moment. While the story will ignore your choices at times, other ones do seem to matter. And, there's one that Telltale with either make matter 100%, or they'll mess it up... It's kind of going to show how Telltale will be handling choices in the future because it's such a huge choice. Anyway, I'd recommend it if you can also find the time to watch the show.

Since when does it handle determinants better? S1 had Ben entirely different scenes were made, I guess you could say Finn is pretty decent determinant. Guy at the wall? Big deal nobody cares you won't see him unless you send him there. Royland/Duncan is pretty much Carley/Doug just worse.

Because you were comparing it's determinants to TWD S1's.... When I was only talking about TWAU, TFTB, and TWD S2.

read again. "it's handled determinants better than anything past TWD S1, and what it does better than any series so far, even more so than TWD S1 I'd say, is making those choices feel like they'll matter in the moment."

I'm just trying to clear things up that you seem to be missing, or are just ignoring on purpose because you want to argue with me.
