A bit late to the party, but... I just finished the 5th episode (I already watched playthough of the first four before playing them)... Brilliant, fucking brilliant. Beautifull scenarios, unexpected twist (though looking back to it, it does quite a bit of sense), a freaking mecha vs kaiju fight!!!!!, near death expriences, emotive while still being funny...
It kinda of reminds me a bit to something... Which considering the fact that the production of both happened more or less at the same time (though one was released quite latter) I really found it weird that two so very unrelated things could be somewhat similar...
It's probably just me...

It's probably just me... That and a Disney joke that completely confirms the dev's had the same thoughts I did about the main character.

Took them long enough! I mean GOT gets a retail release the same day as episode 6 comes out, but it takes 4 months for the retail version of Tales to come out? I think this is the longest we've had to wait for a Telltale retail release.

yo, anyone else got an update on steam? Yep. I think it's just technical issues fixed though, no secret 106-108 files here.

yo, anyone else got an update on steam? That was just related to a lot of games being updated on Steam to where Steam itself would include video drivers or something, instead of each individual game asking you to install certain drivers prior to installing the game the first time around. That is nothing specific to Telltale's titles, all of which were included in this Steam update.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo looking back on the cliffhanger ending seven months later. We ever gonna get any answers? Seems pretty clear that Telltale has no interest in a season two and there are no rumblings of a Borderlands 3 at all. Hell, if we do get it, when will that be, 2034?

There was a slight mention of BL3 a few weeks ago confirming that it's in development and a few other small details. So unless it gets cancelled I'd say it'd be reasonable to expect it within the next 3 or 4 years.

Well, we ARE getting a BL3, and I severely hope everybody's favorite characters are in it. Because god does this feel like a sequel rather then a spin off. Sure did more for the story then the Pre Sequel, and even the original.

www.playboy.com/articles/telltale-games-batman-children-of-arkhamWhat do you guys think of this? I suppose it explains the long delays from rewrites. Although, I'm kinda concerned at how they abandoned the tone of the earlier episodes (such as the theme of "Honor Among Thieves" or "Use words, not bullets") and instead went for a more generic buddy comedy during the later episodes. Don't get me wrong - I still loved the series, but I was disappointed at the dropped themes I just mentioned. Also, it makes the reveal of why they hated each other from the prologue feel kinda forced. They teased it as it having been the result of serious fallout, but they rewrote it to where they were mad at each other because Rhys flirted with Sasha, which I thought was kinda forced and cheesy after all that set up.
