Claptrap: Voice grates against ears, has an ingenuinely happy tone, and never shuts the fuck up. Gortys: Has the voice of the happiest child who ever lived, always sounds genuine and cute af, and talks at the perfect moments. In German he sounds pretty good, I really adore his voice. And like I said, he entertains me a lot so yea, I could listen to him all day Look, I used to be fine with Claptrap. But after a few hundred hours of Borderlands, I now sometimes feel the urge to dismantle him slowly, piece by piece, and then crush each piece with weight of a thousand suns.

You say mean things to Gortys, and now your reveal this? You're breaking my heart, Pika. You mixed me up with Sonic, I might be a psychopath but I'm not a monster. Hey I only said it because it seemed to be the most believable of the choices. I would apologize to her the first chance I got if it was offered.

Gortys is the best because Ashley Johnson is the best. Like, the best of the best. The voice actor suits the character perfectly and vice versa.
Side note: why are Molly/Jane comparisons still made? They only share the similarity of being women loners with a lost sister. Otherwise, they're polar opposites. Molly hates the Crawford mentality, Jane lives by it. Being a loner is such an insignificant character trait. How you view human relationships and value human life is monumental.

So apparently there's a rumor going around that the reason Scooter died was because his VA Mike Neuman is apparently diagnosed with some lethal disease or something. Can anyone confirm this?

I thought he sounded better in BL1; I absolutely hated his BL2 voice when I first played due to the radical change, but it warmed up to me. I still prefer BL1 though.

Well, if that's true... Nothing's more tactful than killing off the character whose VA is terminally ill. Smooth one, TT.

Actually isn't it more tasteful to have the character go out in a very heroic manner compared to just replacing the voice?

It doesn't have to be replaced; the character can be written off in a different manner. "Going out in a heroic manner" does not mean "the character must be killed". Look no further than Furious 7 (which I made fun of sometime ago).
